The past few days went by really fast. There were some school things, playing video games, and playing outside with Edgar and Maya. The day of Felix's birthday finally came and Marzia was excited yet nervous. She bought him his favorite candy and she believed it was enough to make him happy.
They woke up Felix exactly how they woke up Marzia and Felix was happy. It was time to open the gifts and Marzia was nervous.
"Read the card first." said Marzia
"Ok. Dear Felix, Happy Birthday! I hope you spend it well and have everything you wished for. I'm sorry I didn't give you something big but I did get your favorite candy. Don't worry one day I will give you something that you always wanted. Your friend, Marzia. Thanks Marzia. It's okay I love this candy anyway."
"I know but you gave me a pink controller for my birthday and I think this is like nothing compared what you gave me."
"It's okay I understand that you and your family don't have enough money. Don't worry."
"Okay. Happy Birthday Felix."
"Thank you Marzia." Felix smiled at her and she smiled back.
After Felix opened all the presents everyone went downstairs to eat breakfast. After breakfast Felix and Marzia played video games until it was time to go to a restaurant to celebrate Felix's birthday.
Felix's pov
I'm really happy for all the people in my life at the moment. Marzia is actually the first girl that is my friend and she's my best friend. I couldn't ask for another person to be my best friend. I may be little but I have a feeling that me and Marzia will be best friends forever.
After we left the restaurant Marzia and I played with the pugs for a little bit. We were teaching them a few tricks. I taught Maya how to fist bump and we were both really excited we showed our parents. Bedtime came around and I was sad that the day ended. I said goodnight to my parents and Marzia.
