Chapter thirteen

Felix pov

The last bell rang for dismissal and I caught up with Marzia.

F-" Hey!"

M-" Hey."

F-" Are you okay? Did you make any friends?"

M-" No. So looks like your stuck with me for the whole year. Again."

F-" That's okay I'm sure you'll make some friends in a couple of weeks."

M-" I doubt it. Hey don't you have to meet Caroline?"

F-" OH CRAP I ALMOST FORGOT! Thanks for reminding me. I'll see you later."

M-" Wait what do I tell mama Kjellberg when she asks for you?"

F-" Oh yeah...that...um just say I'm with a friend."

M-" Ok."

I'm kind of nervous to get to know Caroline. She's really pretty but she also seems like a bitch. But maybe I need to get to know her to like her.
I finally arrive at the park and I see her sitting on the bench on her phone? Wow I don't even have a phone yet. I think she hears me approaching because she looks up.

C-" Oh hey! You made it."

F-"Yup. So... want to walk around and talk?"

C-" Sure."

F-" So...do you have siblings?"

C-" Nope only child. You?"

F-" Yeah an older sister but she already moved out with her boyfriend ."

C-" So how did you meet Marzia?"

F-" Her family was looking where to live when I was younger and yeah now she lives with me. Well my family. She also has an older brother and he also moved out with his girlfriend. You should really get to know Marzia. She's the sweetest girl you'll ever meet."

"Cool." She says while looking down on her phone. She wasn't really paying attention to Felix, she was on her phone the whole time.

C-" Hey um I got to go...my boy- uh I mean my friend needs me right now."

F-"Oh ok that's fine. Do you want to hang out tomorrow?"

C-" I don't know if I can tomorrow but I'll see." She kisses my cheek and waves goodbye.
I was in total shock that she kissed my cheek. I had butterflies in my stomach and I turned red.

F-"Bye!" I wave back and walk towards my house.

Marzia pov

I walk into the door and expected to hear mama Kjellberg call our names but she didn't. I walk into the kitchen and see a note on the fridge
Hey guys sorry I'm not here, work called and they need me. I'm not gonna be back until 10pm and Marzia your parents are also at work and won't return until 12pm. Dinner is in the fridge. I love you guys❤

I sigh and set the note down. I'm pretty relieved that she isn't here because I'm really bad at lying, but sad because I have no one to be with except for Edgar and Maya. I get the food out and heat it up. As I finished I head upstairs to the game room and start playing some games. I hear the front door open and I assumed it was Felix.

M-" Felix?!"

F-" Yeah it's me!"

He sounded really happy and I was curious how it went with Caroline. I paused the game and walked downstairs.

M-" So how'd it go with Caroline?"

Felix had a really cheesy smile and he looked really red.

F-" It went really well." He started holding his cheek

M-" Why are you holding your cheek? Did she kiss you?"

F-" Maybe." He says while smiling even bigger

M-" Look Felix I'm only saying this because you're my best friend.[sigh] I don't think she's the right girl for you."

F-" Why not?"

M-" Well for starters she's 12 and she's already wearing makeup-"

F-" You're just jealous because she can wear makeup and you can't!"

M-" NOT TRUE!"

F-"IS TOO!"

M-" How could you say that?"

F-"Mar-" He starts to reach for her hand

M-"NO! Leave me alone."

She starts heading downstairs while sobbing.

Felix pov

Man now I feel bad. Ugh why did I say that to her? I need to fix this now. And I know just how to do just that.
I quickly go upstairs, grab my guitar and I went to the kitchen and got a cookie. I went down the stairs towards Maria's room. I see her on her bed faced down and I place the cookie in her night stand. I start playing my guitar and she looks up. I start to sing wonderwall by oasis, which is her favorite song at the moment, and she starts to sing along with me.

F&M-"You're gonna be the one that saves me."

F-" Im really sorry Marzia. I didn't mean to yell at you."

M-" No I'm sorry Felix. I should be happy that you made a new friend. I guess I was just jealous and scared that you might replace me with her."

F-"What! Marzia I would never do that. You're my best friend. I got you a cookie." he chuckles

Marzia chuckles a little too "thank you."
