Chapter fifteen

Caroline pov

I waited at the entrance for Felix. I made sure my shirt was lower and I fixed my makeup. I see him and he starts walking up to me.

C-"So...ready to go?"

F-"Yup."

I grab his hand and started walking towards the park. He looks a little uncomfortable.

C-"Are you okay?"

F-"Yeah trust me."

'Maybe I'm showing a little but to much.' I lift my shirt up a little bit but he still looked uncomfortable.

C-"Okay seriously are you ok? You don't seem fine to me."

F-"It's just...Marzia is the only girl besides my mom I hold hands with."

'ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! IS HE FALLING FOR HER?'

C-" Oh. I can let go if you wa-"

F-"No it's okay I'm getting used to it now." He chuckles.

'I need to ask him out asap. I'll take him to the bench and work my magic.'

C-"Let's go sit at the bench."

F-"Okay."

'Okay Caroline. Work. Your magic.' We sit down and I'm still holding his hand. I look up at him and he looks down at me. I start to lean in a little closer and so does he. I knew I had him under my spell. UNTIL...

"EDGAR NO!"

F-"Edgar?" A black pug, I assume is Edgar, runs towards us. Stupid dog.

F-" Edgar what are you doing here?"

M-"EDGAR NO! Felix I'm sorry I wanted to walk the pugs but..."

F-" Marzia you know how Edgar can get. He's hard to walk. Edgar sit."

Edgar sits down and Marzia puts a blue leash on him.

M-" I know how Edgar can get I just thought the pugs needed some fresh air."

C-" Um but you knew Felix and I were gonna be here yet you brought the dogs."

M-"Look I'm sorry. I was bored and I thought the pugs need a walk ok."

F-"It's okay Marzia just next time wait for me ok. You know only I can handle Edgar. Wait a minute. Where's Maya?"

M-" What do you mean she's righ- MAYA?! OH NO MAYA?!"

F-" YOU LOST HER?"

M-"I HAD HER ON THE LEASH! MAYA?"

Felix gets up and starts walking around calling out Maya.

C-"I could help find her if you want."

M-"N-."
F-"Yeah that'll be extra help."

Marzia just rolls her eyes and walks away.

C-" Well how does she look like?"

F-"She's a fawn pug."

C-"Ok."

F-"She's a little smaller than Edgar and a little chubby."

They walked around the whole park looking for Maya and they were starting to give up. They started walking towards an alley and Marzia heard a dog whining.

M-(screams) " NO MAYA WHAT HAPPENED NO!!

F-"MARZIA WHATS WRONG?!"

M-"HER...HER...HER EYE!"
