Chapter twenty three

Marzia pov

I can't believe Diazo would do that. I told her to keep this secret to herself. I mean I'm sure she didn't mean to but still. She needs to be more careful. Now your probably wondering who Julian is. Well I meet him at the grocery store over the summer. He works as a cashier and I always go to his cash register every time I go there. He finally noticed that I was getting his attention and he asked for my number. We texted almost everyday and we would hang out once in a while. Yesterday I found out that he's going to the same school. 'I just don't know why Felix is so protective like that. It's not like we're dating.' Felix pulls up to the parking lot and we all get out of the car. I grab me backpack and I start marching to the entrance of the school.

D-"MARZIA BISOGNIN!" I hear Diazo yell in her Italian accent. I turn to face her and Felix.

M-"What!

D-"Can you please tell us why you're so mad?"

M-"You know why Diazo." I turn around and start walking again.

D-"IM TELLING YOU I DIDNT KNOW! YOU AND FELIX'S NUMBERS ARE CLOSE TO EACH ITHER ON MY PHONE! I ACCIDENTALLY TEXTED HIM!"

I hear her yell out and people turned around and faced us. I have social anxiety so seeing people stare at us made me start to freak out. I started getting sweaty and I feel light headed. Everything stared going dark and the last thing I heard was Felix yelling my name.

Felix pov

Diazo starting yelling at Marzia and I saw people stop and stare and I saw that Marzia stoped walking and it looked like she froze.

F-"Diazo! Why did you do that?!" I whisper to her.

D-"What?" I turn her to face Marzia and she gasped. Marzia looked a little wobbly so I ran to her and yelled her name.

F-"MARZIA! MARZIA CAN YOU HEAR ME?!" I see Ken and Marry run towards us.

K-"Felix what happened?"

F-"Sh-she fainted. People were staring at her and you know how she has anxiety, she freaked out and fainted. See look at the sweat." I point at her forehead. "Quick Ken open the door I need to take her to the nurse!"

Ken gets up and runs the the doors. He opens them and I carry Marzia bridal style and I run the nurses office.

F-"NURSE! NURSE! YOU GOTTA HELP MY FRIEND SHE FAINTED."

N-"Ok honey I need you to calm down and breath." I stop and breath for a moment. "Ok. Now, does this usually happen?"

F-"Only when she has an anxiety attack. You see, she has a really bad anxiety. She had since 7th grade."

I remember the first anxiety attack Marzia had. It was really bad I didn't know what to do. We were in English class and we had to do a presentation. Marzia already had social anxiety. She's always been a really shy girl so doing a presentation by herself wasn't a good idea. I remember that she got up and she started sweating. Then her face starting turning red and her hands were shaky. When she got in front of the class, not even two seconds and she passed out on the floor. I remember I got up and started freaking out. The teacher called the nurse and they came rushing in and help her. I couldn't go with her and that was the last time she had an anxiety attack. We found out she has anxiety because after she woke up her mom picked her up from school and took her to the doctor and said that she had anxiety.

N-"Honey I need you tell tell me your name and her name."

F-"I'm Felix Kjellburg and she's Marzia Bisognin."

N-"Okay Felix just lay her on that bed and go to your homeroom okay. We'll take it from here."

F-"I'm sorry but I'm not leaving until she wakes up." The nurse just stares and me then at Marzia and back to me.

N-"Fine I'll let you stay." I go to the bed and lay Marzia down. The nurse goes to the sink and wets a rag.

N-"Well all we can do is wet her face a little and hope she wakes up. And if she doesn't wake up for another 30 mins then we have to call the ambulance to take her to the hospital."

F-"well I be able to go with her."

N-"I'm afraid you won't be able to. But let's hope she wakes up within 30 minutes so that way we don't have to call the ambulance."

F-"Okay." I sat in the bed and every other minute I kept wetting her forehead with the rag. After about 15 minutes she starts waking up. "Marzia?" She groans a little. "OH MARZIA." I hug her tight.

M-"Owe Felix."

F-"Sorry. I'm just happy we don't have to take you to the hospital."

M-"What?"

F-"You fainted. Do you remember anything."

M-"Last thing a remember was that people were staring at me and everything went black."

F-"Yeah...you had another anxiety attack. Like 7th grade."

M-"Oh no. Do you think Ima have to take those pills again. You know I hate them and they make me tired." When the doctor told us she had anxiety her mom wanted to prevent any anxiety attacks for the future and they prescribed some pills to help it. Marzia would always be tired to do anything every time she took them so she stopped for 2 years and she's been fine. I told Diazo to stop cuz she knows Marzia has anxiety.

F-"M-Marzia I tried stopping Diazo...b-but she wouldn't listen. AND I-"

M-"Felix! It's okay. I know you. I know you would do anything to protect me. Thanks for trying anyway."

F-"Well I do need to say one thing."

M-"What?"

F-"Y-you kind of overreacted about the whole texting thing. It happens to me a lot. I sometimes accidentally text Ken or Diazo instead of you. Like that time I accidentally told Ken to buy milk and that was for you. Don't you remember?"

M-"Yeah I remember." She smiles and giggles. "That was pretty funny. He was so confused." She laughs a little and smiles. I smile back at her and I realized we were at school.

F-"Oh...uh we should get to class."

M-"Right. I almost forgot we were at school."

F-"Me too. Well come on. We're gonna be late for first block."
