Chapter fourteen

Marzia pov

I'm really lucky that Felix is my best friend. I couldn't ask for any other person to be my best friend. He is so sweet and funny and a lot of people like him. Like who doesn't?

It's the second day of school and I don't want to go back at all. I haven't made any friends. I don't have Felix I'm my math or science class and I don't talk to anyone there. I really hope I get to sit in the back of the class where no one can see me.

F-" Marzia?! You ready to go?!"

M-" Yeah I'm coming!"

(At school)

Felix told me a funny joke and we were laughing. I walk into the school door and the first person I see standing by the wall is Caroline. My face get serious real fast.

Felix pov

Marzia and I were laughing and as we enter I see Caroline and Marzia gets serious and I still keep my smile.

F-" Hey Caroline."

C-" Hey Felix. I was wondering if you would like to sit with me at lunch?"

F-" Actually I'm sitting with Marzia at lunch today and for they rest of the year." I chuckle

C-" Oh."

M-" No Felix it's okay you could sit with her."

F-" No Marzia I don't want to leave you alone." I turn to Caroline "How about this you can come sit Marzia and I."

C-" Oh okay that's fine. Well got to go. Bye Felix."

She doesn't even say bye to Marzia she just walks away.

F-" How come she didn't say bye to you?"

M-" I don't know and I don't care. Let's just go to homeroom."

They go to homeroom and Marzia sits all the way in the back and Felix follows. They talk more about random things and Caroline sits in the chair next to Marzia. She taps her on her shoulder to get her attention.

Marzia pov

C-" Hey can I ask you a question?"

M-" Uh sure."

C-" In private?" She motions her head towards the door.

M-" uh yeah sure."

I get up and go out to the hallway with Caroline following behind.

M-" So...what is it

C-" So. You might deny it but please answer honestly."

M-"Ok. What's wrong are you ok?"

C-" Oh yeah I'm fine. It's about you."

M-" Oh. Well ask away."

C-" Do you...do you have a crush on Felix?"

I hesitate a little. "No. What makes you think that?"

C-" Well you're always with him and always really close to him."

M-" Well we're best friends. We're supposed to be real close don't you think?"

C-"I mean I guess but it just seem like you guys are dating and I know you're not."
