It was October 21 and it was a pretty sunny day. Marzia was half awake. She could hear things but she could open her eyes. She heard some whispers.

"Can I turn on the candles?" asked Felix

"No you'll burn yourself." Johanna whispered back.

"Come on guys I think she's waking up!" whispered Marzias dad.

Marzia heard the door open and more whispers

"Ok ready 1...2...3"

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU..." they all sang

Marzia opened her eyes and saw everyone: Felix, his mom, his dad, Fanny, David, her mom, and her dad. Oh and also Edgar and Maya. She saw that her mom was holding a cake with 6 candles. When they all finished singing happy birthday to her she blew out the candles. They all cheered. They gave her the presents they bought her and her dad recorded everything.

"Ok Marzia tell us what you got agian."

"Ok. A doll, two dresses, five pairs of pug socks, a soft blanket, and MY VERY OWN PINK CONTROLLER!!"

Marzia was very happy that she had her own video game controller. Felix got it for her with a little help from his mom, dad, and sister.

"That's really nice. Do you like them all?"

"No. I LOVE THEM!!" she yelled out.

After they ate the cake Marzia and Felix got ready for school. After they came back they played video games and Marzia was really happy she got to play with her new controller. Later in the evening they went out to dinner and they were stuffed.

When they went home it was time for bed but Marzia wasn't ready for bed. She walked into her parents room and asked them if they had a different cake for Felix's birthday. They did, they had everything planned out already. Marzia felt bad because she didn't buy a present for Felix. So instead she made a home-made birthday card for him but she still felt like it wasn't enough. She asked her parents if they could take her to the store and buy Felix's favorite candy. They agreed.
