Kira watched in relief as the gold faded from Anakin's eyes, to be replaced by his normal blue. She watched as he seemed to crumble from within, and then she spoke:
"You do not want this. Trust me. I have followed this path before, and it haunts me to this day. No matter what he has done, his life is not worth wasting your own over. Do not worry, Master Sinube is not dead, merely deep in a healing trance. As for the Force Lightning... don't worry. No Force power is inherently evil. Merely the intent behind it that guides it. See ?"

At that, Anakin watched in awe as he saw a Jedi unleash Force Lightning to rival Palpatine's. The golden arcs of energy leaped from Kira's fingertips, before slamming into the assassin; and hurtling him backwards into an escape pod. With a whoosh the escape pod detached from the ship, and began to drift away from the cruiser. Anakin was furious as he turned to Kira, and opened his mouth to question her. His fury was replaced by excitement as he realized what she was holding in her outstretched hand. A tracking beacon.

He was ecstatic. He could have kissed Kira, except he didn't think neither she nor Serra would take kindly to such, and he didn't want to face their combined wrath. Instead, he hugged her.

Put in an awkward position, Kira hesitantly patted her friend on the back. Once Anakin released her and stepped back, Kira smirked and said
"Now. On to business. You have an excellent suit of armor. Serra however, does not. I do not know if she learned how to operate the armory or not."

   Anakin paused in confusion
"Operate the armory ? Why would she need to operate the armory ?"

Kira smirked and motioned for Anakin to follow her
    "You will see."
