Chapter 3 - Red Dress

After our last subject, Kath and I went to the mall to buy a dress for her date with Johnny.

"Damn, there's a lot of cute dresses here, i can't choose what to wear later" she said

"Well, in my opinion. I think you don't need to buy a new dress or something. It's just a friendly date" i said.

"For your information Seth, it's my first date and i want impress Johnny"

"If he likes you then, you don't need to impress him by the clothes you wear or the make-up you put on. He should like you for you" i explained.

"Whatever, I want to make this date memorable. So instead of bragging there, can you just please help me choose what to wear???"

"Okay fine!"

I helped Kath and we ended up choosing 10 dresses, but we only need ONE. I told her to fit all the dresses we chose and i'll help her decide.

I was waiting outside the fitting room and when Kath came out, she was wearing a long purple dress, i laughed.

"why are you laughing???" She looks annoyed.

"You look like barney!" I continued laughing.

"Whatever i'm trying another"

She went back in thr fitting room and I waited.

when she went outside, she asked "how about this?"

She was wearing a short black dress, "too short" i said.

"Yeah" she agreed.

She went back in and tried another.

"This?" She asked

She was wearing a pink dress, "too girly" i said.

"Ughhhhh" she went back and tried another. It was already her 4th.

While I was waiting for her, i took my iPod and listened to music.

"How about this? This looks fine, i guess" kath said.

She was standing infront of me, wearing a red dress that looks perfect on her skin tone.

"Wow" i looked at her

She looked at me weirdly. "Hey!!!!" She snapped. I was totally lost, "so? does this dress looks perfect on me?" She asked.

"Oh sorry, yes Kath" i replied.

"Are you sure? Will Johnny like this?"

"Are you crazy? Of course he will like it" i said

"Okay then, i'll buy this" she said.

She changed her clothes and bought the dress.

"Hey let's go buy some food to eat" i said

"Naaah, it's already 4:00. I need to get ready for our date" she said.

"Oh okay. call me later if you need a ride home, okay?"

"Don't worry. Johnny will give me a ride home, but okay. Thanks bestie, you're the best" she smiled.

"Anyway, i need to go now. Thanks a lot for helping me, I'll call you later. bye Seth!" She bid good bye.

"Okay, bye Kath" then kath left.

I was left alone and as I was walking, i was thinking about Kath. She's really in love with that football player who cannot even take her seriously. Kath is very blind, I know that she already knows that Johnny is a player and she might be one of Johnny's victims. oh well, as what other people says "Love is blind"
