CHAPTER 7 - Expectations

Seth's POV

I turned off my alarm, it's 7:00 in the morning, and it's Wednesday.

I stood up from my bed and the first thing I thought was Katherine. I'm getting worried again because she haven't texted me last night. I took my phone from my study table and texted Kath.

"Good Morning Kath! You forgot to text me yesterday huh? It's okay :) I hope you're fine, See you at school!" and I sent the message.

As I was waiting for Kath, I took a bath and changed.

I'm on my way to school, but Kath hasn't replied to my message yet. Now I'm getting worried.

When I already arrived at school, I went directly to my locker and took my books that I needed for the rest of the day. My first class was Mathematics, but I went to the Chemistry room first to check if Kath's present in school. I entered their room and I looked for her. I didn't see her, and I'm sure I'm really worried, and I can't stand it. I took my phone and called her.

*ringing*

please pick up, please pick up....

"Hello? Seth?" She asked.

Finally!

"Hey Kath. FINALLY! I'm worried about you, you forgot to text me and reply to all my text messages. where are you?" I asked curiously.

"Seth! Don't worry. I'm fine. I'm gonna be absent for school today, so you don't need to look for me." she replied.

"What? Why?"

"You don't need to know. I'll explain everything tomorrow. See you! Bye Seth."

"But-"

She already ended the call. *Sigh* I have no idea what she's up to, but I hope she's not with that Johnny.

Moving on, I went to my first class, Mathematics. And to think, Johnny and I have been classmates in Mathematics since elementary. I got excited to see his face, but I hope he's present today so that I won't get worried again that Katherine might be with that asshole.

I entered the classroom, and I didn't find Johnny in here. Maybe he's just late? Besides it's 15 minutes before the bell rings.

"Good morning Class!" Mrs. Weng greeted as she was entering the classroom.

I looked back at Johnny's desk and he wasn't there. He's absent, and he might be with My Kath. :(

I'm feeling bad right now, because Katherine always replies to my text messages, but when Johnny started to enter in her life...

I was replaced.
