Chapter 5 - Stupid

"Hey wait, my cellphone's vibrating" Tasha took her phone out of her pocket and she went outside the bookstore and answered the call.

I continued scanning books about Teen Fiction, until Tasha went back.

"Who was that?" I asked.

"It was my mom. She called me to pick her up in the grocery store, and I think I should go before my mom cuts my head off. It was nice talking to you Seth, don't worry your secrets are safe with me" She chuckled.

"Okay then, take care Tasha! It was also nice talking to you. I trust you, bye" I said.

"I'll see you at school Seth." She smiled and bid good bye.

And I'm all alone, again.

I continued scanning and saw a book entitled The Catastrophic History of You and Me. Wow, very deep huh?

The story is about a girl who believed in love, until the day her heart was broken. What she meant was her heart LITERALLY broke, and of course...she died.

This story sounds interesting. I need to buy this book.

And of course, I bought it.

After that, I went out of the mall, hailed a taxi and went home.

It was already 8 pm and I guess Katherine's having a good time with her date, Johnny.

I haven't recieved any text message or calls from her, and I'm getting worried. So, I texted her first.

"Hey Kath! So, how are you? :)"

I sent it and hoping for a reply.

*beep*

Wow that was fast.

"I'm still with Johnny and I'm fine. I'll text you later when I get home"

Well she sounds busy. At least I already know she's fine.

It's already 10:26 pm. Katherine haven't texted me yet and I'm worried again.

Sigh.

I'm losing my hope already. I already had the chance before, but I was too stupid waiting for the right time until someone steals my chance.

Johnny.
