Chapter 15 - Guidance

Chapter 15

Seth's POV

Things just happened so fast. Yesterday I was strolling in the mall alone and I saw Kath crying from afar. I went to her and she told me about what happened between her and Johnny.

That stupid guy.

He doesn't even know what he's thinking. He's a one lucky guy because a girl like Katherine fell deeply in love with him even though he's a coward, while I'm here doing the best that I can to make her fall in love with me, but it's not working, and I'm starting to lose my hope.

It sucks to know that the person you're in love with sees you nothing but just a friend.

But I should stay strong. I should not just give up on Kath, I should keep on fighting, and someday I will finally call her mine.

Today's Monday and of course who doesn't hate Mondays? Mondays are hell, you're stuck there in school thinking "tomorrow's not friday, even the day after tomorrow is not friday." and I can't wait to finally finish high school and start a new life in college.

During lunch break, Kath and I ate together as usual and the weird thing is she's not on her usual self today, she's quiet.

"Kath are you alright?" I asked.

"Huh? Oh yes, I'm fine.....I'm perfectly fine." She smiled.

"I know you're not. You don't need to pretend you're fine and you don't need to put on a fake smile when you're not really happy." I said.

"Thanks Seth, but don't worry about me. I'll be fine...eventually." She replied.

"Are you sure about that, Kath?" I asked.

"Yeah" she nodded. "Well, I gotta go-"

"Where are you going?" I interrupted.

"I need to go to the guidance office because Ms. Kate needs me." She replied.

"Since when are you helping Ms. Kate?" I asked.

"I don't know. She just called me, so I need to go now. See you later Seth!"

"Okay then, see you later!"

She bid good bye.

That was weird because I didn't know Kath's helping Ms. Kate, or she's just hiding something from me? I need to know. So, I stood up and followed her.

She entered in the guidance office and I hid behind the door and tried to listen.

"Hey Miss Kate?" She said.

"Oh what brings you here, Kath?" Ms. Kate asked.

"Well umm, I need someone to talk to."
