Chapter 20 - And...

Chapter 20

Tomorrow is finally the day.

I woke up and took my phone to text Kath:

"Good morning! 1 day left ;)"

And after few minutes she replied:

"Morning! Ikr? Can't wait! :)"

I stood up and stretched "ahhhhhhhhh" what to do...what to do...

I can't be with Katherine today because she's going somewhere with her mom so I decided to go and eat lunch by myself.

I took a shower and wore my plain white v-neck shirt, khaki shorts and vans.

I went downstairs and saw my mom watching tv "hey mom, i'm going outside, I won't be able to eat lunch here though so i'll see you later. Bye mom"

"Okay, bye sweetie!" Mom replied

Ugh can't just mothers stop calling their teenage son "sweetie"???

I walked on the way to Mcdonald's since it's just near our house because we live near the city. I ordered one-piece chicken with large coke.

I sat on the table for two and started to eat.

While eating, I saw a couple on the other table having a happy conversation while eating and they look like they just met but I guess they're already dating. They look so happy with each other and i'm just here with nobody. That hurts though.

After eating, I took a walk outside and decided to go to the mall.

I rode a bus and decided to just buy something for Kath before we leave tomorrow.

I went inside a jewelry shop and started to look something for her.

"May I help you sir?" the saleslady asked

"Hi, i'm looking for something to give for my best friend tomorrow and I don't know which looks good on her" I replied

"We have a new gold heart bracelet sir" she said and took the bracelet in the glass where they place it.

"Yeah it looks nice but i'll just watch for now and i'll just decide later. Thanks though" i said

"Okay sir, let me know if you need assistance" she smiled and went to the other costumer.

I continued finding for a fancy jewelry for Kath.

"Looking for something" a familiar voice said from behind.

I looked back and it was Natasha.

"Oh hey Natasha!" I greeted "long time no see"

She giggled "I know right? It's good to see you! How are you Seth?" She asked

"You too! I'm good. Kath and I are having a vacation tomorrow" I replied

"Oh wow really?!" Natasha really looked surprised

"Yes!" I shouted

"Wait, are you guys dating?!" She said

"obviously, nope. We're still best friends" i replied

"It's not that obvious though" she chuckled "anyway, I know someone better will come along to take your breath away" she said

"Yeah, I hope she wont kill me" i replied

She laughed. "Yeah right! Anyway, take care you guys. Have a safe trip and I'll see you soon! Tell Kath hi for me" she said

"Thanks Tasha! See you" I replied and bid good bye.

I didnt find anything nice for her so I went out the store

It was already 6pm and i'm still a loner strolling around the mall.

Until I decided to just develop a picture of ours and write a thank you letter for her. For everything.

After that, I went to starbucks and start writing my letter.

It's 8:30 pm and my mom texted me to go home. I went out of the store and....
