Everyone stared at me the rest of the day. I couldn't stand it. I felt as is everyone could see through my rock hard edge that I've managed to build. Like they could see through to my flaws.
When the final bell rang, I rushed out of school, heading to the flats down the street. That's where all the druggies go.
When I get there, a couple people are already there. I recognize one of them. A tall girl with pale skin and black hair with red highlights. She has a nose piercing too.
She nods in my direction. "You the chick who tried to scrape out Hannah Strom's eyeballs?"
I nod. Word does get around fast.
She gives me a fist bump. "Man, she's a b****. Glad someone stood up to her."
"But whatcha here for?" The boy besides her asks. He looks a year younger, with spiked hair and even paler skin than the girl's. His bloodshot eyes tell me that he's already high.
"Well, I came to try some pot. Or alcohol." I say.
"What makes you think we'll give you some? Huh?" He asks.
"Whoa, calm down Kay. She wants to try some, she can. She probably doesn't know where to get it. Plus, there's enough to go around. We've got enough to surround America!" The girl says.
"Fine. Whatever." Kay says. He hands me some weed, and I take a drag.
It feels good. But, after all, this isn't my first time doing drugs.
