24. Kat

*Katrina's POV*

We just lean against the wall, comforting each other. By now I was crying too. Not just for Tia, but for everything. The adoption, the messages, the kidnapping, everything. I feel so emotional right now.

*Lizzie's POV*
I need to find a way to get her back before the Tia chick goes to the police or something and tries me for kidnapping, which is true but prison? No thanks. I'd rather live my life out here, with my new 'boyfriend'. Well, we haven't gone public yet but we will soon, before Kat resurfaces. I'll make sure of it.

*Niall's POV*

I really want to see Kat right now. It's killing me from the inside out. I really need to see her. It makes me sick to think that someone KIDNAPPED her. What kind of a person would do that? Not one, a person, that I would be friends with, that's for sure. I need to straighten things out.

I am at Tia's house. I need to ask her what actually happened. Here it goes.

She just filled everything in for me, apart from the person behind it all. Apparently she doesn't know who it was. She also included the part she took place in. I lean forward and hug her. "Thank you for sparing her."

She shakes her head, laughing a little. "Of course I would, she's my best friend."

"Well, I'm glad she is.

She nods, smiling to herself. "So, hows Lizzie?" She asks me, casually.

"I don't know actually. She's getting more distant everyday. I do like her, but as a friend you know, I still like Kat." I sit there, smiling to myself, thinking about Kat, her laugh, her smile, everything about her. It's perfect. Tia sits there, grinning like a loony person. I look at her, confused, eyebrows raised. "I have a surprise for you," She says.

"Cool, do I get it now?" I ask.

"Yeah, just follow me." She gets up off her seat, goes through the hallway and up the stairs. She knocks on the door softly, 

"Hey, are you in there?" She asks, quietly. She gets a quiet reply back.

 "Yeah." She grins, looking excited.

"I have something for you. You'll like it very much." She tells the person enclosed in the room.
"What is it?" Is the reply.

"Here, find out yourself." She says, opens the door and shoves me through it. She quickly closes the door behind me, not wanting to ruin anything, I guess. 

I hear rustling over the other side of the room. Oops, I totally forgot about the person. I look up at the same time they do. Our eyes connect and something moves deep inside my stomach.

It's Kat.

It's her, she's actually here. I hold in my yell for joy and run over to her, carefully dodging the furniture. She does just the same. In the middle of the room we meet and I pull her into a huge, tight hug. Tighter than any one before.

 She start crying into my chest, probably happy that I'm here. I start to get little tears in my eyes too.

"I've missed you Kat." I say to her, softly.

She half sniffles-half laughs then says. "I've missed you too Niall."
I pull her chin up so our eyes meet. 

"You know, this whole thing has been tearing me apart. I've cried myself to sleep nearly every night, I don't eat as much as I used too. You disappearing messed me up so bad."

"I'm sorry about that." She says quietly.

"It wasn't your fault. It was whoever took you's fault. I promise I'll never let you go again, okay?"
She nods. "Okay."

I smile and take her head in my hands, softly cupping her cheeks. Her eyes sparkle like jewels, it's amazing. I take a deep breathe, hoping I'm doing the right thing. I tart to lean forward, thankfully Kat dows the same. 

Our lips meet somewhere in the middle. They move in perfect sync. It may sound a little, tiny bit girly, but those butterflies are fluttering like mad right now. I'm enjoy every second right now. After a few more seconds we break apart, breathing slightly deeper

"Thank was amazing." I whisper to her, our foreheads touching slightly.
"I agree." She whispers back, smiling.

We suddenly hear a clapping noise coming from behind me. I turn around and see Tia clapping and whooping. I laugh. "I knew it! I knew it!" She says jumping up and down, she's very excitable.

Me and Tia look at each other and start to laugh at her. Once we're all finished I lean in again and give Kat a little peck on the lips.
