Chapter 10 ~ Bitter Reunion

Genesis P.O.V

"Lets not forget the time Dana ran butt naked down the hotel hallways chasing Dalton!" Gabe said laughing. I giggled

"That maid must've really enjoyed all that Dana butt, she gave us extra shampoo bottles" I said giggling. 

"I mean can you blame her? Have you seen my butt...like actually gotten a good look at it?" Dana said standing up and showing us his butt. "Everyone loves this booty!" He said shaking it slightly

"Please make it stop!!!" Cole shouted causing Sarah to bust out laughing. 

If you're wondering what we are doing talking about Dana's butt and what not...we are currently sitting in Sarah's back patio reminiscing of all the great times the band has had together.

"So Sarah....you sure you still wanna have such a crazy band like us as your friends?" Cole asked

"And live at your house" Dalton added. Sarah giggled taking a sip of her soda. 

"Well ofcourse....I'm kinda used to the craziness..I mean have you met Genesis?!" Sarah said pointing at me. I looked down trying not to laugh

"Ya know surprisingly she's one of the chillest people ever!" Gabe said with a nod

"Well...not always" Will said raising his eyebrows at me. I giggled "Especially when she's had lots of candy or caffeine!" He added

"Well Genesis here is the reason why we both ended up with broken arms during one of our vacations!"  She said giving me the death glare

"Oops" I said laughing nervously

"What happened?" Will asked. I bit back my laugh as Sarah began to explain a story I knew all too well

"Well this one Summer her family invited me to come along with them to visit this huge lake and stay in a cabin for a couple weeks. So at this cabin there's this dock that led all the way to the lake and it had a small ramp at the end...well Genesis over here" She said glaring at me again before continuing "thought it would be an a amazing idea for us to ride into the lake on a skateboard and a bike. So I get on the bike and Genesis is holding onto the back of it on her skateboard and I start to peddle really fast...Now it was HER job to tell me to stop if we were gonna crash or going too fast but Genesis kept on telling me that it was fine for me to peddle faster....So apparently smart ass over here" She said pointing at me "Didn't see the raised floor board on the dock and we hit it and pretty much flew in the air landing on the dock really hard..." She said.

The guys all errupted in laughter. I turned so red I had to hide my face. 

"She ended up breaking her left arm and spraining her other arm, while I broke my right arm" She added. I rolled my eyes playfully.

The guys all laughed and we all kept talking for a while longer until it got really late. 

"So let me show you guys to your rooms" Sarah said geting up as we all followed her into the houe. "So on the first floor theres one big room...may-" She was cut off by Gabe

"I CALL IT!!!" He shouted grabbing his luggage and closing the door behind him. 

"Well then..." She said laughing. We all walked upstairs. "So this room has two twin beds..any takers?" She said looking over at us

"C'mon Will! We can crash here!" Dalton said with a nod. We all walked over to a room that was next door to hers. I was gonna stay here but Cole quickly argued

"Wait I want this room" He said standing in the doorway. I furrowed my eyebrows

"Why?" I asked crossing my arms

"C-cause....I don't really wanna share a room with anyone...a-and it's right infront of the bathroom...So I call it!" He said trying to play it cool. I raised my eyebrows..he is so lying. 

"Well there's two other rooms...but those two rooms have a bathroom in the middle so you and Dana would have to share it" She said with a shrug

"As long as Gen doesn't use up all the hot water in the morning..then it's all good" Dana said smirking at me. I giggled

"Don't worry Dana....I'll leave you some cold water" I said winking. He chuckled looking down smiling. What was that about??

"Hey Cole...don't mean to bother you...but maybe you should spend more time staring at the road than at someone in this car!" Dalton said reffering to how Cole kept staring at Sarah who was sitting in the passenger seat. He quckly shot up and stared at the road. I couldn't help but to giggle..yup..there's something going on between those two.

Moments later we finally made it to the restaurant we would be having breakfast at. We got our table and all sat down. I looked over at Dana who was sitting next to me. He was laughing at something Cole said and I couldn't help but to notice how perfect he looked. He has not a single flaw...

"Hey Gen..take a picture...it should last you longer" Dalton whispered in my ear. I jumped startled. I looked over at him with wide eyes and he winked. Ugh Dalton. I opened my mouth to say something to him when someone called my name out. 

"Genesis?" I heard a male voice say. I got goosebumps. I'd know that voice anywhere. I stood up quckly hitting my knee on the way up and groaning in pain. Dana looked over at me with wide eyes. I looked at him for a second before looking up ahead.

There he was. . .

"J-Jake" I said shocked. He smiled walking over to our table. 

"It's so great to see you!! I saw a picture of you in a magazine the other day...Can't believe you made it so far!" He said smiling. Sarah scoffed

"Hello Jake" She said rolling her eyes at him

"oh Sarah...yeah..." He said glancing at her then back at me "How have you been? It's been so long!" He said smiling. I could barely breathe.

"F-fine...w-what are you doing here?" I said shaking my head. He smiled

"Well I still live in the neighborhood ya know" He said chuckling. I honestly felt like I was gonna pass out. "This must be the rest of the band?" He asked looking over at the guys. He stopped at Dana and held his stare.  I felt my heart quicken

"Y-yeah...This is Cole, Dalton, Gabe, Will.....and Dana" I said nervously. "Guys t-this is Jake" I said glancing at Sarah for reassurance. She was beyond pissed.

"I'm an old friend of Genesis" he said politely. Sarah scoffed making Jake glare at her. "Well anyways" He said looking up at me. "It was great seeing you...I'll see you around then?" He asked...well more like Said than asked. He smiled at me one more time before walking away. 

I took a deep breath sitting my down. Dana looked over at me 

"Who was that?" he asked

"He looks like such a tool!" Dalton said crossing his arms making us all laugh
