Chapter 15 ~ Truth Comes out

Dana P.O.V

"This is not okay" I mumbled burying my face into my hands. Sarah giggled

"Oh don't worry Dana! I'll be entertaining!!" Sarah said with a smirk. Sadly something happened with our plane tickets and everyone got separated again..Gabe, Will, And Dalton got their seats next to each other while Cole and Genesis got seated together in the back of the plane and Sarah and I got seated together in the front of the plane. 

"Remind me again why you didn't wanna change seats with Gen?" I said trying to sound polite. I like Sarah and all don't get me wrong...but I would much rather be with Gen right now. Sarah smirked

"Cause I wanted to get to know you a little better! If you're planning on dating and later marrying my best friend, I need to know that you're not a complete tool or anything!" She said calmly. My eyes widened

"W-what?!" I stuttered. She giggled

"Oh please Dana...I know you got a thing for her" She said filing her nails. I stared at her with wide eyes..how the hell does she know?! "It's obvious" She said practically reading my mind. 

"I don't know what you're talking about...Genesis is just my friend" I said shaking my head

"she may be a friend...but you wish she was more" She said smirking looking up at me. I sighed

"It's not like we can be anything" I said shaking my head. Sarah turned to me with wide eyes

"Well why the fuck not?!" She said loudly making people look at us. I shushed her and she rolled her eyes. "Oh please! mind your own business people!" She announced. I groaned covering my face..god she's humiliating! 

"What do you mean you guys can't be together?" She said turning back to me and pointing at me with her nail filer. I sighed

"I c-can't date her.." I mumbled looking out the plane's window. 

"Is it cause she's socially awkward?" Sarah asked. I turned to her with wide eyes

"No!" I said shaking my head

"Cause she sometimes burps louder than a guy would?" She said raising her eyebrows. 

"No!!" I said groaning. 

"Then why not?!" She said crossing her arms. I sighed looking down

"I-I'm not allowed to" I said looking back up to Sarah's gaze. 

"Why not?" She said getting serious. I took a deep breath

"It's a long story" I said biting my nails nervously. I wasn't supposed to talk to anyone about this..Only me and the guys know why I can't date Gen..

"It's a long flight Dana...we got a lot of time for stories" Sarah said with a nod. "It's okay...I won't say anything to her if you don't want me to..." She said rubbing my arm. I looked down torn about the situation. "Maybe I can help" she added. I looked up shaking my head

"I've been wanting to tell her how I feel...I was even gonna do it when we came down to Florida but....I just can't" I said shaking my head

"Is it cause you're afraid to tell her how you feel?" She asked

"No...uh I mean yeah! I mean...Ughhh!" I groaned. "I'm afraid to tell her the truth but...even if I got enough courage to do it...there's something stopping me from doing it..." I said. Sarah looked at me urging me to go on

"It all started back when the band was formed" I mumbled

" welcome boys...come on in..take a seat and make yourselves cocomfortable" our manager said as we took a seat on the couch. I looked around noticing Genesis wasn't at this meeting. Our manager must've read my mind when he spoke up
