Chapter 19 ~ New Years Eve

Genesis P.O.V

"This isn't gonna fix anything Sarah" I said sighing. She rolled her eyes handing me the dress and pushing me into the bathroom to change. I groaned staring at myself in the mirror. Wearing this little black dress was not gonna bring Dana back to me. I rolled my eyes putting the dress on anyways and walking out of my bathroom into the hallway

"You look beautiful!!" Sarah said smiling wide. I rolled my eyes

"Sarah this isn't gonna work" I said crossing my arms over my chest. She sighed

"Stop being so negative!!" She said grabbing my arms and uncrossing them. "when he sees you..he'll leave that broad and come running back to you" she said with a nod. I giggled slightly. She always had an insult for Nicole

"Now put these heels on!" She said holding up a pair of sparkly heels. I shook my head quickly

"If I'm wearing this dress..then I choose the shoes" I said crossing my arms over my chest

"But these shoes are gorgeous!!" she said pouting

"I choose the shoes" I said raising my eyebrows. She groaned

"Fine!" She sighed. I smiled walking into my room and grabbing my black converse

"Sneakers?!" Sarah shouted. I giggled

"I wear converse with all my dresses...you should know that!" I said smirking. 

"So you'd wear converse on your wedding day?" She said shaking her head. I slid my converse on and stood up . 

"Duh!!" I said smiling. She rolled her eyes playfully

"C'mon!! Everyone's already at Dalton's house" Sarah said dragging me out to the car. 

We got to Dalton's house in no time and I was surprised that everyone was already here. We got out of the car and made our way towards the front door ringing the doorbell. The door open to reveal Dalton, he was wearing a blazer

"Whoa is that Dalton?!" I said referring to Dalton's outfit. He NEVER wears fancy clothes

"Well I should say the same for you! Genesis in a dress! It's a miracle!!" He said looking up at the sky and holding his hands up.

"You are such a dork" I mumbled shaking me head. He looked over at me

"Well are you guys gonna come in? Or are you two planning on spending new years on my front porch" He said smirking.

"Sassy much?" Sarah said raising an eyebrow. We walked in and everyone turned to look at us. I glanced back at Sarah

"Why is everyone staring at us?" I whispered. She smiled shaking her head

"Not us...You" She said with a nod. I furrowed my eyebrows

"W-what?" I said glancing at everyone. I turned to look at Sarah but she had already gone off with Cole. Great...just great...I smiled at everyone walking over to where Gabe, Will and Dalton were all standing around talking. 

"Hey guys" I said with a smile. Gabe and Will both looked at me with a surprised expression

"Whoa who as able to get Gen into a dress?!" Will said looking at Dalton. Dalton shrugged

"You look beautiful Gen" Gabe said with a smile. I blushed

"Thanks" I mumbled looking down. I looked around at all the people that were in Dalton's living room. I was surprised that the amount of people at this party were all able to squeeze into a medium size living. This included all the people that were dancing as well. I looked towards all the people dancing and almost instantly saw Dana! He was dancing with Nicole. I quickly turned and looked away. I couldn't bare see him with her...
