Chapter 9 - After Testing

When Natasha and I got to the lab, everyone that was watching the testing, and Amy was there and sitting in seats gathered around a big table. Everyone was watching me. I walked self consciously to one of the empty chairs and sat down. Amy was staring at me in an odd way.

"Take a picture it lasts longer." I snapped at her. She looked away. I rolled my eyes. Just then I heard Bruce's voice saying that Amy was to tell us what she heard, or saw when she was tested. Amy leaned her arms on the table and sighed. 

"I didn't really see anything, just a bunch of colors and lights. I got really overwhelmed." I started.  

"Okay." he nodded and turned to Amy "Just tell us one thing that you have seen." Coaxed Bruce.

"Well, started Amy, I saw Y/N here, and I heard a woman singing and-"

"Then it turned to screaming." I finished, and when she nodded, I said, "We saw the same thing." Bruce looked puzzled. That shouldn't happen. 

"Well it did." I said. 

"Maybe they are sisters, and they saw the same thing because they were both there." said Wanda. I must have looked horrified, because she quickly said, "I never said it was true, I just said it was a possibility."

I ran my hands through my hair, and sighed into my hands. I swear if Amy and I were sisters, I would probably do something bad. Who would want to be sisters with... that. I know that Amy doesn't want to be my friend, let alone my sister. We both hate each other. Amy physically almost killed me 3 years ago. But I don't like to think about that. It's when I was a weakling.

"Wait, so Y/N, what exactly did you see?" Bruce asked.

"It started with a confusing mix of colors and lights, I started, and then I could hear a woman's voice singing. I saw flashes of Amy, and the heard the woman's voice turn into screaming. It's a little difficult to explain. I saw somebody getting taken, but it was in shadows so I couldn't see any details." 

"Weird." Bruce said scratching his head.

"What?" Amy and I asked in the same voice. 

"The whole thing is weird." Steve jumped in. 

Just then a man rushed into the room, and whispered something in Steve's ear. Steve's expression changed to something of shock and surprise. Natasha noticed and told us to go back to our rooms. Amy the obediant child jumped out of her seat, and ran to her room. I walked out in the direction of my room, but when the door closed behind me. I hurried to the nearest corner, and waited for any news about what we had been ushered to our rooms for. I heard someone step behind me, and whirled around to see Lyric there. "Wow!" He said sounding amazed. "You have amazing hearing" I shrugged his compliment off. "What are you hiding out here for?" 

"I'm hiding out her for quite a couple of reasons, mainly because I can tell something important is happening in the lab, now shhhh..." I turned back to the door and strained my ears. I couldn't hear anything at first, because someone was being too loud. Then I heard a few words being spoken, such as Thor, Asgard, and Loki. I feel like I've heard those words before. Just then Lyric sneezed, and I told him to Shut the Hell up, except I didn't say Hell if you catch my drift. The voices inside the lab stopped and Lyric and I both backed away from the lab and turned and ran down the hallway.
