Chapter 3:
“No” was all the boys said.
“I’m going to ask you one more time to let her go before I take Amanda by force and I don’t care who gets in my way. Never touch her, be near her, and speak to her. Just stay away from her. Now, let her go.” I said threateningly. I swear if they don’t give me Amanda…
“Fine, you take this piece of shit” Robert spat as they shoved Amanda at me. She tripped and fell but I caught her before she hit the tile.
“You are the only piece of shit here and I’m coming back for revenge. Mark. My. Words.” I spoke calm and slowly so that now me and Robert were inches apart from eachother’s face. I slowly stepped back, grabbed Amanda’s wrist while I dragged her away from the boys. We were only like 15 feet away because Amanda stopped me.
“I think I’m going to go to Austin’s party” she said looking at the floor. I stopped right in my tracks and started laughing. She was joking right?
“Alright that was funny, I needed a laugh. But c’mon lets go.” I gestured to the door.
“I was being serious. I think I should go” she half screamed at me. I knew she was serious now because she knows I don’t like it when people raise their voice with me. Everyone else including the crew seemed interested in this because they were all staring at us once again waiting to see how this would end. I stared at her with a blank expression before coming to reality. She couldn’t go. No, she wouldn’t go. I wouldn’t let her go, specifically.
“You must have got hit in the head pretty bad because you and I both know that you aren’t going to that party. That party is for bad people, dangerous people, party people, umm… how do I put this so you understand what kind of people I’m talking about. People like me.” I said
She stared at me blankly before crossing her arms over her chest and speaking “I’m just as bad as you.”
I smiled trying to contain my laughter. I walked closer to her and got in her personal space. “Prove it” I said daringly. I reached into my pocket and handed her the keys to my motorcycle. “Drive my motorcycle home. I’ll walk. You know how I feel about my motorcycle being messed up though. If you crash though, I promise my bike won’t be the only thing broken. I don’t care if you are my best friend. So go ahead” I pointed to the school entrance doors and paused for dramatic affect “show me how bad you are.”
She looked at the keys in her hand and back up at me. She isn’t going to do it, I knew it. “That’s what I thought.” I stated flatly as I took her wrist and grabbed my keys.
- 10:00 pm -
What the heck?!? I’ve been calling Amanda for the last hour and she hasn’t answered any of my calls, texts, or emails. That’s it; I won’t let her ignore me. I got on my motorcycle and headed to her house. 15 minutes later I pulled up in front of her house. I just went right inside her house not bothering to knock. I went into the kitchen and saw Amanda’s mother, Stacy.
“Oh hi Samantha! How is everything?” Stacy asked me. She’s always been like a mother to me. Her and I work together to make sure Amanda doesn’t get hurt. That’s why I’m so protective over her.
“Oh everything is fine. Do you know where Amanda is?” I ask as politely as possible.
“Amanda said she went with you to some boy’s party tonight” Stacy told me confused.
“Oh right! She must be at my house right now and I didn’t see her. Sometimes I can be such a blonde. Well thank you” I said calm when on the inside I was screaming. I ran out of the house and rushed over to Austin’s. I can’t believe she went to the party when I told her not to. I wasn’t exactly in party clothes either considering I was wearing black converse, black short shorts, a white tank top, my hair in a high ponytail and my sunglasses of course.
