Aquila opened her eyes and saw that she was in the same spot as before, but Harry wasn't there anymore. He must've gone to get a teacher, she reasoned. She stood up but yelped in pain as her ankle hurt like Hell.

"Owww..." She whined as she fell back down.

"Are you okay? Who are you?" Spooked by the voice, Aquila jumped and pulled out her wand as a figure walked up to her. Harry. "Woah put the wand down, I'm not here to hurt you."

"Harry?" Aquila asked, her voice shaking. He frowned and took a step back.

"Um, I don't know who this 'Harry' person is, but I'm James Potter, nice to meet you." He held his hand out, and she hesitantly took it.

"Uh, hi, James. I'm Aquila." She said while standing up, wincing as her ankle flared up, and accepted his hand.

"Are you okay?" He asked, looking at her ankle.

"Just peachy," Aquila said with a fake smile. He frowned again.

"No your not. Come on, I'll take you to the hospital wing." He went to take her hand but Aquila pulled away.

"No!" She exclaimed, probably a little too forcefully, as he looked taken aback. "I mean, I'm okay, it just hurts. I'm sure it's just twisted. Nothing I can't handle." She said in a softer tone. He gave her a look but she just smiled. He sighed in defeat.

"I'm going to take your word on this one." James shrugged.

"James! Where've you been?" A young boy called from afar as he ran to James. James and Aquila looked at the boy. He had long black hair, similar to James, but it was neater and longer, and he wasn't as tall.

"Oh, rescuing maidens from forests. You know, the usual." He said nonchalantly. The boy, noticing Aquila for the first time, gave her a once over.

"Who's this?" He said, jabbing a thumb at Aquila while directing his question at James. She huffed and crossed her arms.

"I'm right here, why don't you ask me?" She sarcastically suggested, and she could see the boy raise an eyebrow while James laughed.

"Man, she told you, Sirius! And yeah, why don't you ask her?" James said, still laughing.

"Shut it, James. All right then, who are you?" The boy, Sirius, inquired.

"I'm Aquila." She bluntly stated. Sirius gave her a once over then glanced at James.

"Doesn't she look a bit like Lucius Malfoy?" He asked. Aquila froze at the name while James checked her out.

     "Yeah, I guess." He concluded.

"Who's Lucius Malfoy?" She played dumb. The boys looked over at her with a look of disbelief.

"You don't know?" Sirius asked, disbelief evident on his features. Aquila shook her head.

"Nope. Should I? Is he important or something?" She asked, still playing dumb. Pretend like you don't know anything and you won't be questioned, it worked like a dream.

"Nah, he's not important. He may act like it but he's really not. How can you not know him? Anyone who's been at Hogwarts knows him. Speaking of anyone who's been here... how come I've never seen you before? You obviously go here considering you're wearing the robes. And you're a Gryffindor? There's no way I wouldn't have seen you. Something doesn't add up here." James narrows his eyes suspiciously. Aquila fidgeted a little under his gaze.

"I'd tell you but I'm not really sure how I got here and you wouldn't believe me." She mumbled. The two boys looked at her curiously.

"Oh? And why's that?" James inquired, while Sirius was just staring at her.

"Yeah, why's that?" Sirius reiterated. Aquila took a deep sigh and tried putting to words what had happened.

"Well, to be completely honest I'm not really sure what happened to me. One minute I was off crying in the woods with a friend and the next I'm in the same woods but with people from the past. Oh, Merlin, that sounded so weird. Uh, let's try this again. I'm Aquila Malfoy, daughter of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy, sister of Draco Malfoy. I'm in my first year of Hogwarts where I got sorted into Gryffindor and got disowned, the reason I was crying in the woods in the first place." Aquila explained all in one breath. Sirius and James exchanged a look which practically said that she was crazy, and she honestly couldn't she's surprised.

"Lucius manages to get himself a wife in the future? Never would've thought." James eventually said, breaking the awkward silence. Aquila chuckled slightly and gave a sad smile.

"It was arranged, and if it helps, he's a bloody awful Father," Aquila mumbled but instantly afraid that she spoke badly about him.

"So what year do you come from, then?" Sirius inquired, ignoring her previous statement.

"Uh, 1991." She calmly stated. They both stare at her with mouths wide open in shock. She chuckled at their reactions. She'd be lying if she said she didn't enjoy seeing their dumbfounded faces.

"1991... that's like light years from now!" Sirius complains. "Can you tell us anything cool that happens?" He pestered. Aquila fidgeted uncomfortably.

"Um, well, you see, I don't want to tell you two anything that might change the course of history. Also, I'm very weirded out about seeing my only friend's father as an eleven-year-old kid, and seeing a known criminal standing here innocent." She said matter of factly. Her eyes widened as she realized what she had said. "Uh, well, actually, that part about the criminal thing... um, Merlin, I ruined it!"

"Which one's the criminal and which one's the dad?" James asked. Aquila shook her head.

"I shouldn't have said that. I really shouldn't have said that. Say, how about we forget I said anything, yeah?" She tried, giving the two stink eyes. "And if I hear that this conversation got out I will take it upon myself to hex you into 1991!" Aquila added for effect. The boys gulp and glance at each other.

"How in the world are you a Gryffindor?" Sirius asked suddenly. Aquila frowned and looked away.

"I... I don't know. All I know is that it caused a lot of problems for me. Now, where can I see Professor Dumbledore? I need to tell him about my... predicament." She asked. James smiled.

"I can show you. I'm sure Sirius will be all right on his own, right?" He asks the black haired boy.

"Yeah," Sirius agreed. "Don't have too much fun!" He adds, and Aquila glared at the boy while James just chuckled.

"Ignore him, that's what I do!" He whispered into her ear, making her glare soften a bit. "Now," he said out loud, "to meet Professor Dumbledore!" They linked arms and walked happily away. She had a sense of nostalgia as Potter was so much like his Father. If I ever get back, I'll tell him that, she vowed. I think I'm gonna like it here, in this time.
