Four years later, Hailey "Leelee" Irving is now 23 married to her college sweetheart Kyrie Irving and took a break off of music to raise their 4-year-old daughter Aaliyah Asonté Irving. Life couldn't get any better.

"umm Hailey , why is Kyrie here looking for you ?" my mom asked over the phone. my pops and i had boarded the tour bus at 1 am and was on the road. but my ringing phone woke me out my sleep at 8 am letting me know that kyrie wasn't lying and had made it to Atlanta bright and early the next day.
"because i talked to him and he wanted to see his daughter" I mumbled exhaustion clear in my voice.
"no, he's also looking for you as well."
"well, I don't know why, I'm on tour let him know I'm on tour, he can see me in 2 months, " I said rolling my eyes.
"don't be putting ya problems on me Hailey, you tell him," she said there was a short pause before I was greeted with Kyries voice.
"lee where you at ?" he asked worriedly.
"I'm on tour" I sighed.
"why did you leave? I told you I was coming in the morning "
"I know but me leaving was already set in the plans and I already told you kyrie I don't wanna see you right now" I sighed.
"why? how are we gonna get over this hurdle in our relationship if you don't want to even communicate with me? are you ever gonna forgive me ?" he asked
"I don't know ... , i have to think about myself for once and I'm thinking about my music. we can talk after my tour.. these two months are about me okay ?"
"ight...lee?"
"yes, kyrie ?"
"i love you okay ?"
i sighed trying not to cry. " i love you too "

I hung up the phone handing it back to lee's mom.
"I haven't gotten to talk to you since the blow up so tell me the situation in your words " she said as she sat down across from me at the kitchen table.
"Man... it's just" I sighed before running my hands done my face .
" I love lee with all my heart everybody knows that. But ever since I agreed with her getting back into her music , she hasn't been there for me . I felt like her music was replacing me and you already know I'm the jealouse type so seeing her being around all these male rappers and I know how they are giving in friends with some of them I just don't trust it" I sighed
" I confided in our babysitter and she helped with get through some problems she gave me good advice given she was a female . But I guess she grew feelings and I can swear to you never grew feelings . It just felt good to have someone who understands what I go through. We had more in common that just sports . One night we shared a kiss that I regret with my life . "
" I feel where I went wrong is that I didn't tell lee when It happened . I tried to hide it knowing you can't hide nothing from Lee. And now I think she's done with me "
Her mom sat there taking in everything I was saying nodding her head .
" you know what I got from that ?" She asked
"You were afraid that the attention wouldn't be on you when Lee went back to singing . When she stopped singing she was at every game she was there to your every beg and call and you was afraid there would be now more fear of being replaced. So you wanted her to feel the same way but you couldn't handle the hurt you caused her"
Her mom said causing me to think. I did think I would be replaced with her music .
" but I never intentionally wanted to hurt her " I sighed
" no one intentionally wants to hurt someone , I understand that . But you did and now you have to do whatever is possible to get her back"
" you love my daughter ?" She asked
" yes no doubt , more than my own life"
" well I see n her on the studio with Wiz a lot lately and she invited him on tour with her. If you wanna win her back I'd get in between that relationship. He's always had a thing for her " her mom said alerting me as she pulled up pictures on her phone of them together

"Thanks for the heads up " I said hopping up and heading up the stairs to check what city she would be in first. I was gonna be on the first plane trip out there .
