Kyrie P.O.V.

I waited outside in the hotel parking lot for Leelee brother Hassan to bring my daughter. My legs were shaking as I was getting anxious to see her.

I looked through my rear view mirror as I seen his car pull up and park beside me. I quickly stepped out the car making my way to his.

But I didn't see my daughter in the car..

" I'm sorry man, she was already taking her out. They went to the movies on Lenox " he sighed

"Fuck! " I whispered

" what movie they go see?" I asked

" Moana"

I hopped in my car leaving him standing there as I headed to Lenox to see my child. I wasn't gonna let anything stop me even if it had to do with me confronting leelee for the first time in months.

I parked in the first parking spot I found and hopped out throwing on a hoodie to make sure there wasn't any attention on me cause of who I was .

"One ticket to Moana" I spoke tot he clerk.

" $12.50"

I handed her a 20 and took my change and my ticket heading straight to where it said the movie was playing. As I walked in the previews hadn't even started so the lights were still on.

I looked around and including find them. I scanned every row and they weren't there. As I decided maybe they had gone to get food I made my way got tHe door and they were coming right in .

" DADDYYYY!!!" Liyah yelled as she grabbed my leg almost dropping her juice.

" hey baby" I smiled hard as I picked her up kissing her cheek multiple times.

" I missed you soo much" I held her tight

" can't... breath" she spoke weakly making me laugh as I released her.

"Hey lee"

" hey" she greeted as she stared down at her shoes.

" I was hoping I could watch the movie with you guys?"'I asked staring at lee.

" yes yess. Please mommy !" Liyah begged.

" okay okay " lee laughed

I moved out the way so they could make their way to the seats of their choice. Liyah ran ahead of us and went all the way to the back and we allowed her to sit in the middle as we sat on either side of her.

Tristan P.O.V.

"Have you spoke to her?" my mom asked as she stirred the pot on the stove.

i popped a skittle in my mouth as i shook my head.

"Nah, I don't wanna seem annoying. I feel like I'm smothering her, I want her to pick me cause she wants to I don't want to affect her heartfelt decision" I sighed

"i understand, but sweetie its you just showing you care. i really liked her especially for you. have you decided on going to see her ?" she asked as she turned the heat down on the stove.

"no thats going too far ma" i laughed

" im just telling you what i would want my man to do " she shrugged

"its been two days maybe ill call her tonight " i sighed

i honestly missed Lee like crazy. the day she left we talked all night. but after that, we hadn't really had much of a conversation. id send good morning text and she'd reply but the conversation would be left there. I didn't want her to think i wasn't interested anymore because i was more than interested but i just wanted her to make the choice of being with me because her heart is telling her too. not because I'm forcing myself on her.

my phone started ringing before my mom could respond. I looked down at it seeing my homie  calling me.

"Wassup big pimpin "

"Wassup rookie " he laughed

"surprised to be getting a call from you " i admitted

"I know it been a grip from pre season. where i schooled you" he joked making me laugh

"yea ight, watch when the season start" i laughed.

" but I actually wanted to talk to you about something "

" yea wassup ?"

" I heard through the grape vine you talking to Hailey "

Tristan sighed knowing this would eventually come up. Tristan was friends or associated with Kyrie. He actually never had even one conversation with him. But he knew Lebron due to Lebrons taking him in his wing when he got drafted to the Heat . Lebrons old team.

" yea we were talking "

" were ?" He asked

" yea she went home to finish the divorce or whatever she's gonna do . I allowed her that time to decide what she wanted to do. Wether go forward with me or stay with her family . So I haven't spoken to her since she went back " I shrugged

" I respect it . I just wanted to understand what was going on cause your my boy but Kyrie is my boy too and I don't wanna be an awkward position. And I know you don't owe any loyalty to him cause you don't know him and never met him but I just wanted to reach out and know what I was getting myself into if Lee decides to leave him ." He explained .

"Yea I understand ." Spoke not knowing what else to even say .

" ight, also in having a get together in 2 weeks out here. I wanted to invite you if it won't be awkward for you "

" ok that's wassup and yea I'll be there it won't be awkward at all . "

" ight I'll see you in 2 weeks "

" ight "

We hung up the phone and I sighed knowing that if I went to that party Kyrie would be there and though it wouldn't be awkward for me it might be for him seeing the man that's taken his girl .

But we shall see what happens.
