Leelee P.O.V.

since the day Kyrie came to the movies and got to see his daughter again he and Leelee have been cordial. tonight was Lebron's party and due to Leelee being friends with his wife she was invited. but she didn't wanna go to the party with Kyrie there knowing there was unwanted tension between them. the tension would be noticeable by their friends and that's what she didn't want. so she decided to have a talk with him before the party tonight,

she had called him over and he was on his way to her home to talk. He knew this would be coming soon but he didn't know she'd be the one to bring it up given how much she avoided him since he came back.

Lee stood in front of the counter packing Liyah a lunch for school tomorrow when she heard her doorbell ring.

"GOT IT MOMMY!!" Liyah yelled

"MAKE SURE YOU ASK WHO IT IS FIRST "she yelled back as she placed the sandwich in the lunch box.

"WHO IS IT" she yelled as she stood in front of the door.

"the boogie man!" Kyrie said laughing on the other side of the door.

"THE BOOGIE MAN ISNT ALLOWED HERE SORRY" she laughed back

"Its daddy"

"DADDY!" she smiled as she unlocked the door allowing him in the house.

"Hey, baby " he smiled picking her up kissing her cheek.

"I missed you"

"I was here yesterday " he laughed. he had come over the other day to watch movies with Liyah while Lee had to head to the studio.

"I know but I still missed you "

"I missed you more, wheres ya momma?"

"in the kitchen," she said pointing down the hallway. he held her on his side as he walked into the kitchen and kissed her cheek one more time before placing her on her feet.

"Hey" he spoke up putting his hands in his pockets. no matter how long he knew Lee whenever he felt in the wrong being around her always made him nervous as hell.

"hey, Liyah do me a favor and go upstairs and pack your things for nanas house tonight"

"okay !" she cheesed turning around and running up the stairs.

"you can have a seat " she pointed to the stool across from the counter that she was packing aliyahs lunch on. once she was done she zipped up the lunchbox and placed it to the side before sighing.

she wasn't nervous for this talk until she was in front of him. this was the man of her dreams from college and now they were broken and she honestly didn't know where their relationship was going.

"so I wanted to talk about the obvious because we are both going to be at the party tonight and I didn't want our obvious tension to be the star of the party when it's not even about us. so lets lay everything out on the table. ask me anything and vice versa." she blurted out.

he nodded as he rubbed his hands knowing what he wanted to ask her personally.

"are you dating anyone?" he asked first.

"no"

"during the time you were gone, were you dating anyone?" he asked trying to get her to bring up justice.

"no" her and Justice were never dating so she was telling to truth in her head.

"were you speaking, flirting, entertaining any nigga?" he asked getting a little annoyed.
