" hey babe how was your day" (b/n) asked walking up to me

" not so great " I said as we walked down the hallway off school with our fingers interlocked

" I'm sorry. Is there anything I can do to make it better ?" (B/n) asked rubbing his thumb on my hand

" thanks babe but no" I said looking down

" aww" (b/n) said. " oh but I know what will make you feel better " (b/n) said smiling

" oh what's that ?" I asked

" come over and we will forget about today's worries and stress and just chill" (b/n) said hugging me

" that sounds amazing" I said smiling as we walked to our cars

" so that's a yes?" (B/n) asked

" yup. I'll see you at your house babe" I said kissing him as I walked off to my car

10 minutes later

" is it ok for me to park here?" I asked

" yea your good" (b/n) said

"Hey (y/n) nice to see you again" (b/m/n)

" (b/n) you should invite her over more often" (b/m/n) said

" haha I love your mom " I said laughing as we walking into his room

" yea and she loves you" (b/n) said sitting down next to me. " but not as much as I do " (b/n) said kissing my cheek

" so what do you wanna watch?" I asked trying to change the subject of love

" I don't care " (b/n) said handing me the remote as he sat back down next to me

" ok" I said as I kissed his cheek. " what about... umm ohh the Jungle Book" I said smiling

"Yea sure" (b/n) said looking at his phone

" ok " I said putting on the movie

30 minutes later

" babe what's wrong?" I asked looking at (b/n)

" nothing " (b/n) said not looking at me

" bullshit" I said

" what do you want me to say?" (B/n) said a little harsh. " I don't want to start a fight" (b/n) went back to his phone

" well you haven't talked to me since we got in your room" I said looking down. " did I do something?" I asked

" babe we have been dating for a year and a half and you have never said that you loved me back" (b/n)

" ohh it's about that" I said staring at my hands

" yes. I'm not saying you have to say it back. It's just I really do love you and I guess it would be nice to hear it. " (b/n) said

" (b/n) it's not that I don't lo.... umm yea that word. It's just I have a past and I don't want to just say it " I said staring at his floor

" what do you mean you have a past?" (B/n) asked

" I have had bad relationships in the past and I have said that I loved them and they hurt me" I said starting to look up at him. " I just don't want to get hurt again so I push the feelings away" I said

" you know I would never do anything to hurt you baby girl" (b/n) said hugging me tight

" I know. That's why I love you" I said as he pulled away a little so we could kiss.
