Your POV

" hey (y/n) what's up" my best friend Hannah questioned running up to me

" nothing" I stated as we walked into school

" oh come on" Hannah nudged me. " no new news? No rants?" Hannah questioned

" nope sorry I'm boring " I laughed slightly

" oh come on give me something. I'm your best friend" Hannah begged as we reached our lockers that were by each other

" no your going to hate me" I opened my locker

" I would never hate you" Hannah exclaimed

" yes you would. I hate me for this" I  stared into my locker

" just tell me. Please " Hannah begged

" I like... Justin Foley" I slowly closed my locker in shame

" WHAT (y/n)!" Hannah screamed

" han shut up" I pull her to an empty classroom. " look I know he's bad and we make fun of him.." I started

" yes you know he's bad so why would you do this to yourself. I don't want you to get hurt" Hannah scolded me

" I know han it's just last week he's been... I don't know different " I commented

" what do you mean different? Have you been seeing him?" Hannah questioned

" well kinda.." I murmured 

" what and you haven't told me?!" Hannah exclaimed 

" well it's nothing. We just hung out a little. It's nothing really.." I stated flatly

" (y/n) yes it is. How did you guys start hanging out or whatever?" Hannah questioned

" last week. On Wednesday " I looked out the window

" ok but how ?" Hannah questioned

" well you and Madison were busy so I went to Starbucks by myself to study and we kinda met there" I stated

" oh come on (y/n) don't leave out the details. Tell me " Hannah smiled

" ok ok. So I was going up to get some coffee because I was going to be there for a while and I saw him walk in" I smiled thinking back on that  wonderful day.

" wait wait. You mean to tell me Justin Foley. The most popular guy in school, captain of the football team was at a coffee shop?" Hannah questioned laughing

" yes let me finish" I laughed

" ok ok. Sorry continue " Hannah laughed

"So I was just waiting for my coffee and he bumped into me so we started talking" I smiled. " so he started talking to me about school and stuff" I rambled

" come on just tell me " Hannah begged

" well he asked me not to tell anyone and I promised him I wouldn't" I stated

" okay" Hannah stated flatly. " I thought I was your friend but ok" Hannah turned about to leave

" Hannah. I want to tell you I really do. It's been killing me keeping this a secret but I promised him" I stated

" you know I won't tell anyone. I don't even like jocks. Thought you didn't either" Hannah rolled her eyes 

" Hannah seriously " I screamed pissed off

" what your not going to tell your best friend?" Hannah questioned. " so that's the new thing? we date jocks and keep secrets?" Hannah questioned

" oh my gosh Hannah no" I exclaimed 

" well I do t want any part in that" Hannah huffed walking off

" he needs tutoring. Ok" I yelled as she turned around

" no friking way that's historical wait till his little friends find.." Hannah laughed

" Hannah you can't tell anyone I promised Him wouldn't tell anyone " I begged

" I was kidding chill" Hannah laughed. "even though it would be funny" Hannah laughed as we walked out of the empty classroom

" hey (y/n) how are you?" Justin questioned

" I'm good how about you Justin?" I questioned smiling

" better now that I'm with you" Justin put his arm around me

" hey I'll catch you later (y/n) " Hannah smiled as she walked off

" that's your best friend?" Justin questioned

" yea we have been friends like forever. She's always there for me even when I want to kill her some days " I laughed

" that's great you have such a strong friendship" Justin walked me to my first period
