You got detention for being late to a class and arguing with a teacher about it and your boyfriend got himself in trouble just so he could be with you.

Evie's POV

Crap I'm going to be late and of all classes it has to be Mrs Jackson who is so strict on attendance.
On come on car MOVE. MOVE
Oh really now I get a red light.

"Thank goodness" I breathed out looking at my phone "it's only 7:33 I have two minutes to spare" I thought to myself as I walked into my school

"Excuse me. Sorry can't be late" I stated pushing through a crowd of stupid slow moving apparently old people disguised as teenagers

"Crap. Where my keys"I thought as I almost reached Mrs Jackson's room.
"this isn't happening to me right now" I groaned running back out to my car

*ring*

"Great I'm late now. Good job Evie" I groaned heading to the front office to get a late slip

" Evie?" Beth my favorite office lady questioned surprised to see me

" yea I woke up late, got behind a slow ,car hit a red light but made it here just in time and almost to Mrs Jackson class too just to realize I left my keys in my car" I stated as Beth was trying no to laugh at me

" now I know why you get here so early now" Beth laughed singing me a slip. "Good luck with Jackson" Beth smiled handing me my late slip

You know most teenagers are late because they slept in. Nope not me. I left my keys in my car.

"Sorry Mrs. Jackson" I said walking into my class late

"Miss Evie your late " Mrs. Jackson said as I gave her my late slip

" yes I know " I said trying to sit in my seat and ignore all the stares I was getting

" this is your third one Your going to have ISS" Mrs. Jackson said filling out a ISS slip

" I was late one time  in your class the other two were excused " I argued not wanting to ruin my perfect reputation

" I'm sorry but arguing with me won't change anything" Mrs. Jackson said handing me a slip

" Mrs. Jackson I'm not arguing with you I'm.. if you look on PowerSchool you can see that I haven't been tardy 4 times" I said as nice as I could

" I'm not having a student disrespect me" Mrs. Jackson said handing me an ISS ( in school suspension) slip. " you can go see Parker I don't want you in my class" Mrs. Jackson said

I can't believe she's giving me detention for being late twice she is ridiculous

" miss Evie Emerson what are you doing here?" Mr. Smith questioned

"I was late and Mrs Jackson sent me here" I stated rolling my as he laughed

" you can just get on your phone and I know your not a bad kid" Mr. Smith stated getting on his school giving laptop

" thanks Mr. Smith" I smiled sitting in a desk playing games on my phone till I heard a familiar voice

" hi Mr. smith" Jake smiled walking in with a slip

" Mr. Andrews and what do I owe the pleasure?" Mr. Smith smiled as my boyfriend  walked in

" this beauty right here sir" Jake smiled stupidly

" what you do this time Jake?" I questioned making Mr. smith laugh

" I called Mrs. Jackson old and bitter, also told her she was wrong and needed to get her facts straight for sending you here" Jake stated making me smile

He is such a trouble maker and gets detention for the dumbest things, but I love the dork either way.

" whatever no making out" Mr. Smith stated getting back on his laptop

" you really got detention for me?" I questioned hugging him

" uh of course. You don't deserve to be here anyway but if you are I though I would keep you company" Jake smiled making me laugh

" so how long this time?" I questioned. " a week? Month?" I questioned laughing
