Chapter 4 ~
Avery P.O.V.
After a few hours of our Spongebob Marathon, the twins stomachs started to growl, along with mine.
"Okay okay. I'm making food!" Kohl laughed at us as we whined at him to make us food.
"Lord knows Avery can't" he mumbled walking off.
"Heard that!" I shouted through his GIANT house.
"I know you did!" He shouted back.
"Sheesh. No need to be moody" I mumbled smiling at the twins.
"So what do you guys do for fun?" I asked
They looked at each other, smiled evily, and replied.
"Prank our brother" they replied at the same time. I smirked.
"That's what I hoped you'd say" I smiled. We smirked at each other and we took of to Kyleigh's room, where apparently her and Sam have all their prank stuff.
After we figured out our prank, we decided we'd do it after lunch. We walked back down stairs and they headed for the TV room and I went into the kitchen with Kohl.
"Hey Kohl" I smiled leaning against the counter.
"Hi Avery" he smirked. I laughed and we continued to talk as he cooked lunch for the four of us. Pasta! Yum!
I grabbed a glass out of the cupboard, but with my luck, it slipped from my hand and fell to the ground with a crash!
"Crap! Kohl I'm so sorry! It slipped from my hand!" I exclaimed
"It's fine Avery" he smiled putting a hand on my shoulder. I smiled and started to pick up the glass off of the floor. I had all the big pieces in the garbage and was putting the last one in the can, when it slipped and left a long cut across my hand, running from in-between my index finger and thumb, to the other end of my hand.
"Shit! Avery! Are you okay!?" Kohl exclaimed. It was bleeding a lot. I can deal with bleeding and all, but to see this much coming out of a cut, shocked me.
"Crap crap crap!" He kept saying. He grabbed my hand causing me to hiss at the pain.
"Kohl it stings" I hissed as he shoved it under cold water and helped clean my hand out for any glass shards in it.
"I can't get the little shard out" he muttered. He ripped a sheet of paper towel off of the roll, grabbed my hand covering it with the paper towel and leading me into one of the five bathrooms they have in this house. He ran it under water again clearing all the blood away, and grabbed tweezers from a kit with nail clippers, nail files, and a bunch of other things. He used the tweezers to try and get the glass out of my hand.
"Kyleigh!" He yelled. (A/N it's Kylie just spelt differently)
"Coming!" She yelled back and I heard footsteps coming up the stairs.
"Can you finish the pasta while I get the glass out of Avery's hand?" He asked
"Sure" she replied spinning on her heel to walk out.
"Wait! Sweep up the glass around the sink. Be careful though, you won't be able to see it, so watch out. I don't want to pull glass out of your hand or foot" he laughed
"Aye aye" she saluted and walked out with a smirk on her face. I can see where she gets it from. Kohl. It's identical to his.
Finally, after a while, Kohl got the glass out of my hand. He rapped it in goss and we walked back to the kitchen where Kyleigh and Sam were currently eating their pasta.
