Chapter 9 ~
Kohl's P.O.V.
What to do, what to do. I thought.
Oh I know! I could go for a run. Meh, might as well start being active. I walk a lot so what the difference.
A lot you idiot. My mind said.
Whatever. I don't like you very much. I muttered to my head.
You have to. I'm you. He said.
Jesus I'm turning into Avery. Avery is the only person I know who would have a mental conversation with her self, and now I am to. What is happening to me!?
You're spending to much time with Avery dumb dumb.
Now even my conscience is sounding like Avery! This is bad, very bad! Okay now I'm sounding like Avery. This is worse then I thought! I'm going for a run. I changed into basketball shorts and a dark blue tank top and headed out the door.
Best way to clear my head. Go for a run. Or punch a guy but this way involves less chance of being arrested. I ran to the park, and saw a bunch of guys from school there.
"Hey man!" One of them said bro hugging me.
"So have you guys seen this girl Avery? Andrews sister? She's so hot! To bad she's his sister. I'd totally hit her up if it wasn't for Andrew. He'd skin me alive!" Another guy said
"What's that? Care to repeat?" I asked starting to get angry.
"Avery. She's so hot man! I'd get in those pants any day!" He laughed. Is it some kind of joke to him?
"I'd love to play that!" He continued. If he continues this, he's not going to be able to play anything.
"She's not a toy" I growled
"Every girl, a conquest, every pair of lace panties an prize" another guy said, and they high-fived.
"Talk about her like that one more time. I dare you" I said crossing my arms over my chest.
"She's so hot. It must be like gold down there. Have you seen her ass though? And her boo-" I never got to hear the rest of his sentence. Well no one did. I lunged at him and pinned him to a tree, grabbing his collar. There was about a five inch height difference between us, so I grabbed his collar and lifted him by his shirt.
"Talk about her like that ever again and I will stuff you in a bag and burry you six foot under" I growled in his face.
He nodded and I let his collar go, turning around and walking away.
"Kohl?" I heard a small voice squeak. I looked to my right, and there stood Avery.
"Avery. Did you hear any of that?" I asked. She nodded a tear slipping from her eye.
"No please don't cry" I said softly gathering her in my arms, wiping the tear away.
"Kohl, he's the quarterback. He can get the whole football team against you. I-I don't want to see you hurt" she cried "I don't want to lose you" she whispered
"Avery, you'll never lose me" I said hugging her tighter to my chest.
"Wanna go get some lunch?" I asked. She sniffed and wiped a tear away but nodded anyways. I threw my arms around her shoulder and she giggled.
"Where are we going?" She asked
"This diner I know a few streets over" I smiled turning in that direction.
