Chapter 6 ~
Kohl's P.O.V.
It was about 9 o'clock when Avery and I put the twins to bed. I was with Kyleigh, while Avery was with Sam. I was about to leave when Kyleigh grabbed my hand.
"Kohl? Please don't go" she whispered
"I'm right here babe. I'm not going anywhere." I whispered. She snuggled into my chest, and fell onto a deep sleep. I was starting to drift off, when I felt someone shaking me.
"Kohl. Kohl, wake up" Avery whispered
"Huh?" I mumbled rubbing my hand over my face, sitting up.
"You fell asleep with Kyls. I would have let you stay here but the guys are wondering where you are" she said
"Alright" I said sliding Kyleigh off of me. Avery leaned over and kissed her forehead. I smiled. Avery treats these kids like they're her brother and sister.
"What?" Avery asked smiling.
"You're so cute with them" I laughed wrapping an arm around her shoulders pulling her to my side. She swatted my chest and laughed.
"Shh. You'll wake her" Avery giggled. We walked out of the room and into the movie room where the guys were having a pillow fight. What a girly thing to do.
"Uh guys?" Avery laughed. They turned to us, and their faces paled. Avery giggled at their shocked expressions. Andrew was the first to drop his pillow and clear his throught.
"We were uh getting the pillows all fluffy for the uh movie" he stuttered. I chuckled and nodded my head smirking at them.
"Suuuuuure" Avery laughed. I chuckled and I popped in a movie. Paranormal Activity 4. I smirked and we all sat down on the couches, waiting for the movie to start.
"W-what movie did you p-pick?" Avery stuttered as a commercial for another scary movie played.
"You'll see" I smirked.
"Paranormal Activity!?" She screeched. The boys and I laughed at her and Andrew brofisted me.
"Nice one" he laughed. Avery smacked him and and I and buried her face in my chest.
"Is it over yet?" She wined
"It just started" I said. She groaned and threw popcorn at me. I caught it in my mouth and she swatted my chest. Hard. Again.
"Ahhhhhhhhh" Avery screamed again. I laughed at her.
"How can you laugh at this? I'm going to pee my pants!" She exclaimed. All her brothers shifted over so they weren't next to her. Idiots.
"I'm not actually going to pee my pants losers" she muttered. After that they shifted closer to her and relaxed back into the couch.
Avery's P.O.V.
I can't believe Kohl put on Paranormal Activity! Jerk. Ugh he's such a loser.
-Yeah but you love him
Whoa where did that come from?
-Not like like love him as a friend dumby
OHHHH okay. Wait? Did I just have a conversation with myself?
-Yes. Yes we did.
Stop that! Okay I think I'm going crazy.
-We're not crazy!
Surrrrrre. Now shh! I'm watching a movie!
-Jeez you're bossy
Shut up!
Okay, now I'm sure having a mental conversation with yourself is grounds to be locked up in the mental asylum. Better not tell the guys lol.
"Is it almost over now?" I wined
"No! Now shut up!" Jace yelled
"Jeez. Is it someone's time of the month again?" I teased. He made a face at me, then turned back to the movie. Well that hurt. We joke around all the time like that. He's never gotten mad at me for something like that. What's his problem? The world may never know.
"Now" I wined
"No" Leo said
"Now?" I asked
"No" Andrew said
"Now?" I asked again smirking.
"No" Jace replied
"Now?" I asked again
"No!" Kohl laughed
"Now?" I asked
"NO" they all exclaimed. I laughed and laughed. They shook their heads at me and sighed. I giggled and turned back to the movie. Wrong choice.
"Ahhhhhhh" I screamed jumping up and right onto Kohl's lap. He's the closet person. He groaned at the sudden impact and then chuckled. I buried my face in his chest and stayed there the rest of the movie.
Finally it finished! Like finally! Longest movie ever!!! Ugh! We all made our way upstairs and said our good nights.
"Here" Kohl said tossing me a shirt.
"Thanks" I smiled. I walked into the bathroom and got changed. When I got out, Kohl was setting up a spot on the floor for him.
"You can take the bed, I'll take the floor. It is your bed after all" I said
"Don't be silly Avery. I don't mind" he said
"Well I'm not letting you sleep on the floor" I said putting my hands on my hips.
"And I'm not letting you sleep on the floor" he said crossing his arms over his chest.
"Then we're both sleeping on the bed" I said grabbing his hand and leading him to the bed. We both climbed in and faced away from each other.
Just as I was drifting off, I felt his arms wrap around me. Kind of like he was protecting me from something. But what is the question. The world may never know how Kohl Black works, but one things for certain. He's the bad boy who's good for me, and I'm the good girl who's bad for him.
