The New Girl

Chapter 9

Athena on top.

Walking inside my house I saw dad on the couch watching a baseball game.

"I'm home dad." I said making my way towards the couch sitting besides him and grabbed the bowl of Doritos.

"So early" he mumbled and snatched the bowl back placing it on his lap.

I frowned, "you need to share dad."

He shook his head grabbing the bowl tighter, " I don't share, there's more in the kitchen."

I groaned making him chuckle. I didn't make an effort on getting up so I just stayed where I was and watched the game with my dad.

Half an hr later....

I felt a vibration in the back of my pocket. I pulled it out to see i had received a text from an unknown number.

Unknown number: Hey it's me Kevin from the park.

I smiled down at my phone. I quickly texted back.

Me: Hey! ☺

I groaned as I sent the text he probably thinks I was waiting for his text or something. I felt my phone vibrate and looked down seeing he texted back.

Kevin💕: hey☺. So um I was wondering if you wanted to hang out. Tonight??

I felt happy as I read the text. He wanted to hang out with me Again!

Me: Sure. My place or yours?

Kevin💕: Mine. 1634 S. Lockford st.

I smiled widely and got up from the couch putting my phone on my pocket.

"Dad I'll be home don't wait up." I said and walked out without letting him replied.

I hoped in the car that I took not that long ago.  I typed the address on the GPS and saw that it was a 20 minute ride well make that 10 since I drive really fast.

I killed the ignition off and just stared to the empty street. I looked down at my phone seeing that I was way to early even though he never said what time I should be at his house but it felt I was early so I waited for about 20 minutes or so.

21 minutes have past and I get off the car locking it behind me. I shoved my hands in my sweaters pocket and walked up to the door. I noticed that all of the lights were off except for one which I assume is the living room.

I take a deep breath and press on the door bell. I wait a couple of seconds and the door creaked open and saw that it was Athena.

She squeal and opened the door wider leaping towards me. I wrap my arms around her small frame as she giggles.

"Aviana!" She yell in between her giggles.

"Athena!" I yelled as well making us both giggle.

Our giggles soon fade as I see  Kevin standing there giving me a smile. And I blushed. He just smiled Aviana no need to blush!

"Hi" he says shoving his hands into his pockets.

"Hi " I breath out and gently put Athena down frowning up at me.

"Come on in." He gestures into the living room.

Athena grabs my hand and pulls me inside. As I was being pulled I noticed something at he end of the corner of my eye. I turn and saw Cole on his motorcycle and he wasn't alone, he was with Crystal and they were making out. My vision goes blury and they both disappeared as I was being pulled fully inside the house.
