Chapter 14

Avianas POV

My eyes fluttered open but quickly shut them close as the bright light hit my eyes. Blinking a few times getting adjust to the light I looked around the unfamiliar room. I heard a beep sound coming from my right I knew I was at the hospital. Never knew I would be back here in this horrible place.

I looked in front of me and saw Athena peacefully sleeping against my dad's chest I turned seeing Liam and Johnny sleeping on the couch bringing a smile on my face. I then look besides me seeing Erika laying her head on the hospital bed. What caught my eyes was i saw Cole on the chair on the far corner peacefully sleeping.

I squeeze her hand and she instantly jolted up with widen eyes.

"Aviana oh my god you're awake" her eyes started to get watery and she hugged me.

Everyone else woke when they heard Erikas outburst. Everyone rushed towards me asking so many questions except for Cole who looked at me worried written on his face.

I stopped everyone by putting my hand up.

"Where's Kevin?" I whispered.

When they heard his name slip out of my mouth they frowned and looked away from me. I started to panic and tried to get off the bed but my dad stopped me.

"I need to see him where is he?" I desperately said.

"He's in a coma" Erika whispered and I stopped looking at her in horror. He was in a coma! My everything was in a coma because of me!

I looked down at the ring and tears sliding down my cheek. What if he never wakes up? I need him here with me, Athena needs him.

"I want to see him" I pleaded at my father and he nodded. He helped me get off the bed and start walk me to where Kevin was. When we walked inside his room I placed my hand over my mouth tears forming once again.

There my amazing boyfriend was laying in the hospital with tubes in his mouth and casts on his leg and arm. He looked horrible. His face had cuts making it painful for me to look at.

I let go of my dad's hand and went to his side.

"Kevin" I started, "please don't leave me don't leave Athena we need you" I cried out.

Everyone left after giving me and him some privacy.

"This is all my fault, I should have never kissed you while you were driving. It's me who deserves to be in the condition that you're in not you, you have a sister who needs you Kevin, wake up" I placed my head on the side of the bed and grabbed his hand rubbing his knuckles.

I don't know how long I was in there but the nurse said I had to get back to my own room to get some rest. I did what I was told and slowly made my way towards my room.

As I was walking I saw Cole standing Infront of me with sad eyes. Without thinking I wrapped my arms around him and that's when I lost it, I cried against his chest as he said soothing words in my ear rubbing my back up and down

"This is all my fault" I cried out.

"No it's not he just wasn't paying attention to the road."

I pulled away and looked up at him, "because I kisses him and distracted him from driving!" I yelled feeling angry towards myself for making the stupidest decision.

He was about to say something but looked at my hand where the ring was located. I looked down at it and smiled at the memory when he gave me it.

He is the one I know it.

"D-did he p-propose?" He stuttered looking at the ring with widen eyes.

I softly chuckled making him look at me in confusion, "No, it's a promise ring"

He didn't say anything instead he looked at me with regret? Why?

"Are you okay?" I asked, feeling worried.

He nodded and turned around leaving me alone in the hospital hall way.

It's been 2 days since I left the hospital and Kevin hasn't woken up. I once again stopped going to school not even caring about education at the moment. I just wanted Kevin here laughing and saying the cutest things to me, I miss him giving me stuff animals everyday when we see each other.

Since I left the hospital Cole and me became really close friends, he would never leave me side and would always try to make me smile, it worked at time.

Right now I was driving to the hospital. I killed the ignition hoping off and grabbed my bag and walked inside. I started to feel sick at the smell of the hospital. I quickly walked into to the elevator and pressed the floor number where Kevin was.

As I was walking towards Kevins room I heard crying, I turned around seeing a lady who looked in her 30s bawling her eyes out as the nurses unplugged the machine, the same machine that was on Kevin.

I ran towards his room slamming the door open seeing Kevin in the same position since 3 days ago. I breathed out and relaxed a little. I grabbed one of the chairs and placed it next to his bed.

"Hi babe," I said grabbing his hand.

"Something amazing happened today"

"On my way over here I saw a lady walking her dogs and she had about 5 of them and guess what?"

"They had onesies on" I chuckled.

"It was so cute and I know you would be taking pictures of them. And saying how adorable they look" I smiled running my fingers through his rough blonde hair.

"And I got you a present" I said grabbing the bag that I had brought.

I placed the box next to him, "it's a camera." I whispered. " I know how much you love taking pictures and I also know you been gushing about the new camera you saw at the store, so I bought you it." I paused and continued, " you deserve it babe, I love you" I stood up and leaned forward kissing him on the lips.

I quickly pulled away feeling a hand instantly grab on to my wrist. I looked down seeing it was Kevin's hand. I gasp as I saw his eyes flutter open. Tears were starting to form.

He's awake!

"Aviana?".
