The New Girl

Chapter 10

A month has passed and me and Kevin we're really close. Me and Athena we're inseparable. My dad and Johnny loved them to death that they treated them as family. Other interesting things happened like I heard from Liam that Cole and Crystal were going out again. I knew it. But I didn't let that get to me I have a wonderful boyfriend that makes me very happy. Yep you guessed it me and Kevin are officially boyfriend and girlfriend. He asked me to be his last night. My dad and Johnny were happy when they found out, I just wished my mom was here.

Flashback~

"Are you sure I look okay Erika" I said  smoothing out the invisible wrinkles on my dress.

"You look beautiful, Kevin is going to have a heart attack when he sees you." She replies massaging my shoulders.

'Ding Dong'

I gasped when the door bell went off. I'm not ready, what if I mess up everything. This is my first date thay I ever been to.

"He's here! Now go make momma proud" she says grabbing my purse and hands to me while pushing me out of my own room.

"Okay okay I'm going" I rolled my eyes as she kept on pushing me.

As I was walking down the stairs I could hear voices down the living room. My heart was pounding as I was nearing to the last step of the stairs.

I turned seeing Kevin and my dad talking about sports I also noticed that my dad was carrying Athena who was so not interested in the conversation. Those two are like best friends and that's mega weird. I cleared my throat making them stop on their conversation and turned towards me.

"Oh my god Aviana you're beautiful"  Athena squeals as she tries to wiggle out my dad's hold. I laugh as she runs up to me giving my legs a hug.

"Thank you"  I say giving her a smile as she gives me one of her adorable smiles.

"You two should get going me and Athena have business to attend to"  My dad says as he gives us a serious face which he  earns  a confuse look from me and Kevin.

"Yup me and grandpa are watching SpongeBob all night" she giggles runing up to dad.

"Athena" my dad grumbles, " it was supposed to be serious 'business'" 

"Oops sorry" she giggles into her hands.

"Well me and Aviana are going to leave you two alone now, " Kevin says grabbing my hand and starts to pull me out of my own house. What's up with people pushing me out of my own home like seriously.

Once we were fully out Kevin turns towards me and gives me a heart warming smile. I blush  and look down finding my shoes very interesting to look at.

"You look beautiful Aviana" he whispers grabbing my chin and pulled it up that I'm looking at his beautiful ocean eyes.

"Thank you" I replied blushing even more.

"You look adorable when you blush" he grins down at me.

"Stop" I playfully push him.

He chuckles. He interlocks our fingers and we walked towards his car. He opens my door and I said my thanks and slide in waiting for him to get on his side.

"Are you ready?" He asks turning on the ignition on.

"Ready" I confirm when I put on my seatbelt.

He cranked up the car and pulled out of the drive way and sped off to where ever he was taking me.

When we got to our destination I noticed that we were in a lake, I looked down at my dress seeing I was not  wearing appropriate for a lake. Kevin must of notice my discomfort .

"We're not going for a swim if that's what you're thinking"  he says killing the ignition off.

I sigh in relief making Kevin chuckle. He got of the car and jogged his way towards my side and opened my door. I gave him a smile grabbing his hand giving it a small squeeze. I was nervous as hell.

He gently pulled me signaling to follow him. As we were walking to who knows where I started to see roses on the ground and they were leading a trail. I started to feel butterflies when the trail of roses kept going on and on.

I gasped when I saw the most beautiful sight I have ever seen. There Infront of me was a table with a white cloth on top of it. Lights where surrounding the table. I also noticed that more lights where hanging on the branches of the trees and the lake behind made it look breath taking.

"Do you like it?" He asks rubbing the back of his neck.

"I love it" I replied looking up at him and smiled, which he smiled back and all the fear and nervousness faded away from him.

He walked ahead of me and pulled out the chair and he gestured me to sit on it. I did as he asked and thanked him. He sat across from me and smiled.

He grabbed the tray that was besides us and placed one of the plates Infront of me and one Infront of him. He took of the covers off the plates and set them back on the tray. I gasped when I saw that I was my favorite food. Sushi. I felt my mouth water at the sight of my beautiful dish.

Once he said to dig in, I started to shove my face with sushi not literally that would be embarrassing even on a date.

We both finish our food and I was now admiring the view. He did all this for me! He's the sweetest and romantic guy I ever met.

"Aviana" I heard Kevin say and I wip my head towards him who was looking very nervous.

"Yes" I asked waiting for what he had to say it must be serious if he was feeling nervous. It was written all over his face.

"Um. " He started, " Will." He stopped and looked down at his hands.

"What is it Kevin?" I asked feeling worried on how he was acting. I placed my hand on top of his. He looked up at me giving me sad eyes. "You can tell me" I said looking at his face very carefully.

"Will you be my girlfriend" he said in one breath and my eyes widen as he said that. My stomach was exploding with butterflies.

"I'm s- "

"Yes" I interrupted him.

"What" he said looking surprised.

"I'll love to be your girlfriend" I smiled.

"Really" he breathed out

I nodded and got up from my seat and made my way towards him. He also got up from his and made his way towards me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he placed his hands on my waist pulling me close to him.

"You don't know how happy I am right now Aviana"  he whispers and I blush. He starts to lean in slowly but I didn't waste a second and smashed my lips towards his. I felt warm and save when I'm in his arms and I loved that feeling that he gives me.

I was happy when Kevin asked me to be his. My life was complete and nothing else matters, it was just me and him right now and no one can ever ruin this moment.
