The New Girl

Chapter 23

"Avianna!" Liam cried out as he ran towards me and wrapped his arms around my neck giving it a tight squeeze.

"Can't breathe" I croaked giving a little tap on his arm and he let go giving me a sheepish smile.

"Girl, you scared the shit out me. I thought I was going to lose you!" He sniffs looking straight into my eyes.

I smiled softly, "oh Liam, I'm not going anywhere"

He nodded, "good because I don't what I'll do with you"

"Avianna" Erika whispers as she had her hand over mouth and tears streaming down her beautiful face.

"Erika" I whisper widening my arms open and she instantly ran into my arms and started to ball out her eyes.

"Erika please stop crying," I pleased, it hurt seeing my friend cry. "I'm alive," I whisper that part close to her ear.

"We almost lost you Avianna" she stopped taking in a deep breath and continued, "They were going to stop giving you CPR"

I frown at that, I pushed her off my shoulder and wiped her tears away. I looked at her in the eyes, she was scared. Hell I would be too of any of them were in the same position as me. I pushed her against me ignoring the pain in my body, I just needed to hug her and let her know I'm here. I'm here with her and that I'm not going anywhere.

"I'm here" I whisper as she cries.

"I'm here" I repeat and she starts to relax into my arms. I rubbed her back in a soothing way.

"Promise me you won't end up here again"

"I can't promise that" I giggled softly. She pulls away and narrow her eyes at me and I just smile and look down at my tummy and back to her wink.

Her jaw drops making me laugh.

"Princess" my laugh stops as I heard the familiar voice, I turn to my right see my dad

"Daddy!" I smile widely and he stands by my side grabbing onto my hands tightly

"I'm so glad you're okay" he then engulfs me in his arm, again ignoring the pain as I wrap my arms around his neck.

"That boy is never getting out of jail, he deserves to rot in that jail cell" he spats angrily as Erika and Liam agree.

"He's in jail?" I gape at my dad.

"Yes" he firmly says.

I nodded shockingly, yeah he shot me three to me exact but he was hurt and just a tiny little bit I felt like he didn't deserve it. His baby sister! Oh god how is she going to feel about her big brother going to jail, she doesn't deserve that.

"Don't feel bad, he almost killed you" he says angrily and I just nodded not knowing what to say.

"Mom says hi" I blurt out making his eyes widen.

"What?" He breathes out walking closer to me.

"Mom says hi" I repeat

"And she says that she loves you and to give you this" I lean up giving him a peck on the cheek since he had lowered his head down.

"She's here you know" I whisper

"She is?" He asks shockingly, "how do you know?"

I smiled, "She told me"

His eyes light up as he looks around the room. I suddenly felt a cold breeze to my left and smiled knowing she was definitely here. Dad noticed me looking by the flower vase.

"She's there correct?"

I nodded.

"Samantha" my dad whispers as he said that there was another cold breeze and I knew he felt it because he smiled like he was a little boy in a candy store.

"Oh baby I miss you so much, I love you so much" he whispers but his voice cracked at the end making me tear up.

"She knows dad" I assured him, they both loved each other very much, if my mom was still alive I know they'll be acting like they were in there teenage years. There both very childish if I may add.

I was to busy focus on my dad that u didn't notice Cole was standing to my left.

"Hi" I smile at him. I felt so much better that he was here. I then remember about Pumpkin, he was going to be a dad, I don't think I lost her, can I lose a baby that early? I don't know I'm very clueless at pregnancy.

"I'm glad you're okay" he pushes my hair behind my ear. I blush at the movement he just made. It's crazy that I feel safe and warm and bubbly when he's around me. Maybe that's how my parents felt about each other.

I looked into his eyes, should I tell him that I met his parents? What would he react to that? Would he be angry?

Just tell.him girl.

I hope you're right about this brain, well here goes nothing,

"I met you parents' I mumbled looking down feeling embarrassed?

"What?" He asked unsure on what I just said to him

I sigh deeply, "I met your parents" finally having the courage to look at him in the eyes.

"They're very proud of you" I added giving his hand a squeeze. I relaxed when I saw his mouth form a smile.

"I know" he smiled down at my hand where it was placed on top of his.

I grabbed his arm and placed it on my stomach. He furrowed his brows at the sudden action. He looked at me and then at my stomach and then at me and back to my stomach.  He finally figured it out making me laugh.

"I'm going to be a dad?" He grinned.

"Maybe"
