Stella:

3 AM.

Cole and I were sitting down in a corner drinking Caprisun. I really liked Cole, he was a fun person, and I felt that I could trust him. I took out my phone, and I took a lot of pictures and I took that boss video. I decided to upload all of the pictures I took today on Instagram and Twitter, and I made a picture slide show on musical.ly. As soon as I uploaded it my phone started buzzing with notifications, so I had to mute it for now. Cole started to tell me more about him, stuff like his age, family, and funny and happy moments in his life. I started to get very sad.

Why should I have a future with such a great person? I'm not as great as Cole, he lives a better life than me. All I would be doing is dragging him down. I once again put on my fake smile. I listened carefully to Cole, and thinking of all the good times he had.

"Oh hey, I forgot to ask. Can I get your number?" Cole asked me. I giggled.

"Yeah sure. Hand me your phone?" I asked him. He have me his phone I entered my phone number in, and gave it back to him. He texted me real quick so I could save his number in my phone. After all that was done, I decided I wanted some fresh air.

"Hey, wanna come with me? I want some fresh air." I asked Cole. He nodded, and he helped me up. We walked out the front door and sat down on the porch. He grabbed my hand. I looked down at our now joined hands. Butterflies ran through my stomach, and I felt magical. I decided to take one last picture for the night. I told Cole to smile as I held up our holding hands as we smiled. That was the last picture I took and uploaded for the day.

We both looked at the sky, looked at how the beautiful stars lit up the dark night so beautifully.

After about twenty minutes I started to get chilly. I looked over at Cole. He was slightly shivering."Hey, it's starting to get chilly. Want to go back inside?" I suggested.

"Yeah, sure." He said. We walked back inside to see everyone gathering their stuff to go leave. I checked the time on my phone.

"No. Oh no. Shoot." I panicked.

"What's wrong?" Cole asked.

"I had a curfew of 11 pm! I've got to get going, goodbye Cole!" I yelled as I ran out of the door. To my surprise Cole ran after me.

"Where are you going?" I asked him.

"Well I have to get home, too!" Cole chuckled. I giggled. I love how he could brighten the mood in such a dark time like this. Hold on. Stella, are you, falling in love? I thought. Nah, probably not. It's probably a best friend relationship, maybe even a brother relationship. I walked down the stairs of the Brooklyn Bridge City Hall train station. Thankfully Cole took the same train as me. Sadly I come off before him.

"Stella, I had a lot of fun today and last night." Cole said as we walked on the train. I smiled.

"I had a lot of fun, too. Maybe we could meet up one day after school?" I suggested. We both stood up at the doors. We were laughing and smiling the whole ride, and I was really happy.

After a long ride of enjoying each other's company, the train was slowing down at my stop. "Aw man, this is my stop. Goodbye Cole, see you tomorrow!" I said, stepping out of the train cart.

"Goodbye Stella! Remember, sneak in through your window so you won't get in trouble until morning." Cole reminded me. I waved him off as the train disappeared.

As soon as the train was gone, I bolted down the stairs of the train station and started running for my house. I climbed the fence to my backyard {which wasn't easy}, and thankfully I left my bathroom window open. I grabbed a ladder from our garage and I braced it against my window.

Here goes nothing. I climbed up being cautious of each step I take, and I finally pushed myself into my window. I quickly shoved the ladder to the side of my window so it didn't look like I climbed in with it. I quickly shut the window as quietly as I could. I went into my room and quickly changed and threw myself onto my bed. It was almost 4 AM by now. I covered up with my favorite blanket and looked at the glow in the dark stars I had stuck on my ceiling. I smiled at the thought of Cole. My eyes started to flutter close, and I feel into a sleep with a very sweet dream.
