Mynx:

5 AM.

It was 5 AM, and I accidently woke up. I had an hour left of sleep. When I opened my eyes I found out that I was in my bed. That boy must've brought me to my room. I thought. Such a shame I didn't get to know his name. I closed my eyes and I hugged my teddy bear. My teddy bear felt very weird. It had a pair of normal people glasses on, clothes, and it was human sized. I opened my eyes.

"AHHHH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE?" I screamed. The boy jumped up from his sleep. Not only did he carry me to my bedroom, but he slept with me for the AM! I jumped out of my bed and pointed to the door.

¨Please. Get out." He awkwardly got up from my bed.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sleep on your bed, it's just that I was too tired to go back home since I live so far away and my eyes were struggling to keep open, and there were already people crashing on your couches and the floor, so I had no other option, but I guess I could leave now..." The boy said. He picked up his phone from my nightstand and started to walk out. I felt a little bad for him now.

"Wait." I said. I knew I may regret this. He looked back at me, a bit of hope in his face was visible. I sighed. "It's 5 in the morning, you might as well sleep here the rest of the night. It's alright if you crash in with me." He smiled.

"Thank you so much! I never got to ask," he yawned. "What's your name?"

"My name? My name is Mynx. What's yours?" I asked as I got back into my bed, getting under my warm covers.

"Oh, Sirius." He replied as he got back in bed. I turned to that I was looking at the wall and not his face. Sirius turned so that he was facing the back of me. He put his arm around my waist and buried his face into my back. I stiffened up real bad. It took me a while to relax in his warm embrace. I ended up smiling and I was starting to feel very sleepy. Maybe I won't regret my decision after all. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the warmth Sirius was giving me. Only one more hour of this.... And with that thought I somehow couldn't sleep. That was supposed to calm me, why don't I feel sleepy anymore?

I carefully took Sirius' hands off of me and headed downstairs. Sure enough there were many people sleeping on the floor and on my couches. I walked into the kitchen to get a glass of warm milk, but what I found surprised me. Mylesia and her friends were lying over the counter each with a bottle of beer in their hands. I got so disgusted that I forgot about the milk and just took some soda from our living room instead.

"Hey, I was wondering where you went." Sirius said as he was coming down the stairs. I gave him a quick smile.

"Well I couldn't fall asleep so I came down here for some warm milk, but I found my sister and her friends scattered on my counter who passed out because of excessive drinking, so I just decided to have some soda instead." I plainly said, heading up the stairs. Sirius headed up, too, though he only made it halfway down the stairs before I started to go up.

I opened my door and looked at the time on my alarm clock. Dang, it's 5:19! I don't have much time to sleep. I thought. I jumped in my bed and covered up well, Sirius laughing at me. I didn't understand what was so funny. I'd do anything for sleep. He climbed in the other side of the bed, except this time he faced the other side of the wall. I was kind of sad that he wasn't hugging me this time, but I can't really do much about that.

I started to think of the long day I had tomorrow. I had a math quiz, a Language Arts review, and I had a Japanese skit I was supposed to practice for my Japanese class, but I forgot to. Well, you'll just have to wing it. I sighed and closed my eyes. If I sleep now I will have enough rest to at least stay awake for the rest of the day, but if I don't, I'm a gonner.

Ten minutes passed and I was still awake, listening to the soothing sounds of Sirius' soft snores and looking as each minute passed by.

Now it was 5:58. My eyes were really droopy. I decided to close then real quick. 5:59. I mentally groaned, still trying to get a minute of sleep. Just when my mind has projected the beautiful thought of the dream I was about to have, BOOM! My alarm went off. I groaned out loud and slammed the snooze button on my phone. I got up from bed.

Here we go. Another dreadful and hard day at school.
