~Sudden Surprise~

Nathalie's P.O.V.

"That was fun" I uttered, Flint and I are now going to go home as the plane had already and safely landed. I was carrying my hand bag while my suitcase was carried by Flint. He insisted to have it so I just complied.

"It surely is" He answered, sadly, out happy trip and enjoyful photoshoot needs to be halt but the memories of the beautiful island and hotel will always be remembered. I won't ever forget the seashore and the bridge like stepping on the grass before we reach the seashore, it was very majestically wonderful and magically awesome.

"Shall I take you home now?" I looked at Flint as he was expecting me to nod my head and just escourt me home, actually I was about to nod my head, I then remember my dad calling me and telling me he wouldn't be able to fetch nor welcome me back because he's going to have a meeting with Mr. Hong, Flint's father.

"Can we go somewhere first?" I asked him, hoping that he will somehow agree even without further questioning me, it feels like I'm in a interrogation room once he does. That's actually a weord thing about him because he tends to be too questionable so I was getting a bit pissed but I'm still answering properly.

"Go where?" He asked, obviously wondering where I would want to go after 2 dreadful days of being scolded during the photo shoot because I wasn't that ready and familiar with the pose I'm suddenly forcing my body to do. Good thing my knight in shining armor is here. Sadly, he's just my knight in shining armor... not my prince Charming.

"To your dad's office" I uttered, he looked at me in confusion and furrowed his brows.

"Why would you want to go there?" That was a very absurd thing for me to do because I wasn't really that serious about handling our company because all I ever wanted is to just have my own time, relaxing and doing nothing but sleep. I wasn't really that lazy but I was really... I don't know.

"Please" I looked at him expectantly as he then let out a sigh and just gave in, he does know that I'm persistent. What I want, I'll get everything.

"Dad, good morning" I uttered once i opened the door in Mr/ Hong's business room and saw them getting cozy and drinking some wine, they were actually having a talk but I don't care since I know that they're just laughing and their real discussion is already done.

"Oh, hi sweettie. How was the trip and photo shoot?" Dad asked as gave him a slight kiss on the cheek because I was getting exited all of a sudden, which makes me confused and all.

"It was awesome, I didn't know that it was beautiful there" I uttered as I also gave Mr. Hong a polite bow before giving him a hug which Flint follows shortly after. Flint is wearing a tux and so are my father and his so it looked like they were having an important business meeting which made me feel conscious a bit but I just took a seat beside me dad as I started turning the swivel chair infront of me around and around.

"You don't know how beautiful everything, every place and everyone is" A smile graced on my lips as I uttered those words, I would definitely visit that place again. 

"What are you doing here Mr. Kim?" Flint suddenly asked my dad with a serious voice, probably  because he thinks that dad came here as his boos so his voice suddenly changed which made me shocked and even his father and my dad.

"Why do you want me to leave?" My dad asked with a hint of a joke in his voice but I think Flint took that as a serious one, he immediately bowed his head and took back what he said.

"No, I was just asking for you whereabouts" He uttered, I looked art him looking so serious, he wasn't that serious when he's with me. I was a bit worried for him but also scared because of his sudden change of mood. Dad then just smiled and gave a pat on Flint shoulders, he was standing up while dad just chose to stand up since I think, the whole time he was with Mr. Hong, he was just sitting the whole time.

"Well, your dad here  and I had a very serious talk" Dad stated, he was giving me goosebumps because he's not even telling me the real reason why he chose to have a talk with Mr. Hong.

"About?" I asked, looking at my nails as I waited for dad and Mr. Hong's revelation, they want to have some thrill here.

"Flint"

"Why? What happened?" I immediately snapped my head at my dad when he told me that, I stood up and walked beside Flint who is still standing on the same spot as earlier.

"I explained how good Flint is in handling my company as my assistant and even as your bodyguard" Dad stated which I heard Mr. Hong snorted.

"Which wasn't in the contract and agreement we made" He uttered

"I was forced to, sorry" Dad then answered him back, I was refusing to laugh because of how adorable they looked. They were like throwing tantrums to each other and answering back with each words they know.

"Anyway, since I saw how much Flint had become a very serious person and he is quite good in handling our company" Dad then continued but he was still keeping the thrill so he stopped talking and just stared at Mr. Hong, he will reveal what really is happening here.

"I decided to give Flint the company tomorrow"

"Are you serious?" I looked at my dad and Mr. Hong as he then firmed a nod and gave a small smile to Flint as he was still in shock, I must say I was also in shock because of the sudden revelation made by my dad and Mr. Hong. I never expected this!

"Wahh! You're already a CEO!" I cheered as I looked at Flint and jumped up and down while holding his arms, a smile was slowly creeping on his lips as the truth slowly dawned on him.

"I won't let you down dad. I'll take care of our company" He uttered, I was very proud and happy for him because after all those years of hardship, hardwork, all the things he did and all the pain he endured, he finally reached this ultimatum. He finally earned his company.

"Well done my son, well done" Mr. Hong walked closer to us and he placed his palm on top of his son's shoulder, a firm nod and a happy smile was evident on his face. He was proud, and so am I.
