(Janet & Charlie)
"Thank you so much for bringing me here! I love Italian!" "I'll remember that for future reference", Charile said with a smile. "What other things do you like?" "Well, I love to read, spend time with my sister, and I love coffee shops", Janet said the last one with a blush. "That's funny...I love coffe shops too. You never know who you mind in them", he said with a wink. Of course that made Janet blush more. They foind out they had a lot in common...from their favorite music to places they wanted to travel.
Janet didn't know when the last time it was that she had spoken with a man this long without wanting yawn. She hoped that this would definitely not be her last date with Charlie! She was already counting down until the next time!
Charlie had gone out with several women in his past, but they all seemed more interested in dating his cash, then him. It was nice to enjoy an evening out with a woman who could like, and maybe possibly fall in love with him, instead of his money. He couldn't wait to ask her out again. He had a pretty good idea that she would say yes! But he would be nervous until he asked.
(Lizzie)
"Hey Miss Gracie! Are you giving these doctors a hard time", it was all she could do to no shed a tear in front of this child. She went over and pulled a chair by the bed. "Hi Miss Lizzie! I'm so glad to see you. The doctors are giving me more medicine to keep these nasty germs away." Gracie peered at the bag Lizzie had brought. "Do you have a suprise for me?" Lizzie had to laugh, "You little sneaky...yes as a matter of fact I brought some books for you to look at." Gracie put her small hand on Lizzie's larger one, "Would you stay and some of them to me? Pleeease?!" How could Lizzie turn her down. "Of course I will stay."
(Darcy)
When he stepped foot onto "Sophie's Wing", he fought back tears. He felt a tug at his coat. He turned around, and saw a small child was the culprit. "Excuse me mister, the ice machine is out of ice. Would you please get some for me, I'm too short to reach it." He was a cute little boy, with a precious smile. How could he smile knowing he was badly sick? Darcy smiled, and thought of Sophie. "Sure little guy. I would love to help." "Oh thank you!" With that Darcy went and got the child some ice, and off the child went.
Darcy continued to walk down the hallway. Room after room was filled with children..some sleeping, some playing, and some.....reading. He paused by one of the rooms as a heard a woman's voice (familiar to him) reading to a little girl. "And the prince carried the princess back to his castle. Where they lived..." It was then he heard the child's voice say with laughter..."happily ever after." He went closer to the door, and peeked in. There she was, reading to this little girl. The picture they painted, caused his heart to once again feel things that he thought he would never feel again. He tried to leave quietly, but he heard the child say, "Oh hello, are you Miss Lizzie's prince?"
