(Lizzie)

She had just finsinshed reading to Gracie, when the little girl turned and asked some man of he was Miss Lizzie's prince. Lizzie turned to utter an apology, but was dumbfounded to see the man she kept bumping into, standing in the doorway with a smile on his face. A nice smile at that. The smile made him more attractive than what he already was. Woah, there Lizzie! Where had those thoughts come from! She hardly knew this man....she didn't even know his name. She briefly looked at him, then turned back to Gracie. "No sweetie, he not my prince, but he's a friend." Okay, so maybe they weren't friends, but it was too complicated to explain this too a child.

"He's handsome like a prince. And you have always said to me that you are always looking for your prince, but haven't found him. Maybe he could be your prince, cause princes are sooo handsome!" Gracie smiled at the man, and put her hands over her mouth. "Oh Gracie, you are soo silly sometimes."

Lizzie wondered if this man was as ebarassed as she was, but from the looks of it, he didn't seem as bothered by it.

"So, what's your name mister? Do you have a princess? If not maybe Lizzie could be your princess!" Lizzie knew that Gracie was a bold child, but oh my goodness! She turned to look at this man, who kept appearing in her life. He had the biggest smile on his face.

(Darcy)

So this woman's name was Lizzie....well it was a start! He had learned quite a bit about her through this little girl. And he found that he liked the fact that Lizzie didn't have a "prince". Before he could turn and go, he heard the little girl ask, "Would like to stay and hear Miss Lizzie read another story?" He smiled at Lizzie, and then at the child, and said, "Sure, I would love to." The little girl was excited! She clapped her hands, and said, "Oh Yea! But first you have to tell us your name. Mine's Gracie, and you already know Miss Lizzie." Darcy sat down, and held out his hand for Gracie to shake, and said, "You can call me Darcy."
