Feel Again (girlxgirl)

Darkness.

It was raining heavily tonight. The night sky were dark, almost black and you couldn't see any stars in sight. It was odd, and it concerned me since this was the day I will either get my love back, or lose it forever. The longer I thought about it, the worse my nerves got. I was terrified. Hanna and her brothers, Ray and Bo, were reading in some old book in the back yard, I could see them through my window. They were arguing with Hanna.. I guess this spell is risky for them as well. An hour. That's all we have until the full moon will rise to the exact spot they needed it to be, the spot where it's power was the strongest. I sighed and walked away from the window. If I was going to lose her tonight.. I had to spend every moment I had with her.
I made my way down the stairs and down to the cellar. Her whole family was there.. Saying goodbye. Isabelle spotted me and walked to me, grabbing my hand with hers and squeezing it gently.
"Guys, let's give her some space. " Isabelle said and they all nodded. One by one they walked past me, pitied looks were on their faces when they left. They knew that a wolf who loses their mate, is a lost soul. The pain becomes unbearable.. Most wolves that lose their mate end up killing themselves because of the pain. It's like a piece of you dies.
The room cleared and I stood there, looking at her. She looked almost lifeless.. I approached her, slowly. I sat down on the floor in front of her and raised my hand to caress her cheek gently. She looked pale, sick. All I wanted was to see her smiling again.. That beautiful smile..
"I'm here, Kristen. I'm with you.. " I whispered. She was unresponsive but I felt her listening, I felt her wolf all around me. "I am never going to lose you.. If it won't work.. If it ever comes to that, I will come after you. " I said softly. I heard her wolf whimpering in my head, as if trying to resist me and what I just said. "I won't live without you, I can't.. " tears rolled down my cheeks as I cried silently. "Our souls were meant to be together, and if that means that I have to be dead to be with you.. Than that's exactly what i'll do. " I said softly and leaned to press my lips against hers softly. I spent the rest of the time talking to her, trying to make her wolf relax. She never responded to me but I felt her through her wolf, I felt her love.
"Jessica. " I heard Hanna's voice call from behind me. "It's time. " she said and all I did was bury my face in her neck, kissing it softly before I kissed her lips softly again.
I stood up and stepped back, allowing Ray and Bo to unchain her and take her to the back yard. It was so hard to see them drag her like this, like she was a corpse. I walked behind them and soon, we were outside. They lit a fireplace and laid Kristen down on the ground near it. I stood on the other side of the fireplace and stared at her gorgeous face.
"The orchid. " Hanna said and Isabelle walked over. She took her necklace and handed it to Hanna, who looked at it like it scared her to death. She let out a breath and nodded to her brothers. "Prepare yourself. This isn't going to be easy. " she said and looked at me. Hanna held the necklace and held it over the fire. "Manu deorum sublimium istorum, dico vobis. Occidere daemonum. Talem et filii ejus, videlicet anima." Hanna started to chant is latin. Her brothers repeated her, almost seven times before the necklace started to shine. It started to get windy and all of a sudden, Kristen's body, who laid down on the ground peacefully, stood up straight. Her eyes stared into mine, glowing with hatred. She shifted in a second and growled at me.
"I won't fight you, Kristen. " I said and she growled again, jumping through the fire place and knocking me down. Hanna and her brothers kept saying things in latin, their eyes closed and the orchid glowed blue behind us. Kristen was about to bite my head off but I used all my strength and pushed her off of me. I may be weaker in my human form, but I was still strong as a regular wolf. She came at me again and knocked me to the ground again, making me his in pain when a trickle of blood rolled down my forehead. She growled again and I stood up again. "I won't fight you. " I said again and another hit made me knock my head on a tree. She turned back into her human form and made her way over to me. She lifted me up and held me against the tree, one hand of hers around my neck. The look in her eyes was one i'll always remember. A look of hatred, disgust. "I.. Won't.. Fight you. " I barely said as I tried to breath. All of a sudden she broke away from me and held her head with her hands, screaming in pain. I walked over until we were both near the bonfire again, trying to reach out for her, but then I felt the excruciating pain hit my head and I did the same, screaming pain as I felt like my head was on fire. We both were on our knees now and the made me wish only one thing, and it is to die. I shut my eyes closed as if tryung to ease the pain, there was nothing else I could do. Suddenly the sound of Kristen's and mine's screams faded to the background, and I heard her laugh again.

"Just admit that i'm a better runner than you, take in the defeat. " I said with a bright smile plastered across my face. I was laying on my back as I looked up at her. She looked so gorgeous.. The sunlight hit her tanned skin and made her brown eyes look brighter than usual, her dark hair flowing gracefully to one side.. She looked like an angel.
"I won't admit that until I'll get a rematch, babe, it's only fair.. " she said, leaning up on one elbow as she stared down at me. I couldn't help but get lost in her.
"Ok, fine. But if I win.... What do I get?" I asked and felt the palm of her hand graze my skin as her skilled fingers ran thrugh my hair, brushing it backwards. "Am I not enough for you? You want more? " she asked with her eyebrow raised. She was such a tease, she knows well that she's more than enough for me.
"I do want more.. " I said and her gaze turned a little serious. Ah, I got you.. "..of you, of course. " I said with a smile and her serious expression turned into a smirk. She climbed on top of me quickly, making me giggle and wrap my hands around her neck.
"I'll always give you all of me.. " she said and I pulled her down to connect my lips with hers. I will never get used to that warm feeling in my stomach, that excitement I get when she kisses me. "You're my sun, moon, and stars. My heart will forever belong to you, and I vow to be here always, for the better or worst." She said as her eyes stared into mine. I was speechless. "Just in case you were wondering.. " she said with a soft smile and I smiled before pulling down into a hug, tangling my hands in her hair.

I fell forward to the ground when I came back to reality. I felt tears falling down my cheeks, both from the pain and from the memory. How I wished to go back in time and experience it all over again.. I felt the dirt inder my hands and everything was quiet around me. No weird chanting in latin, no screaming.. Nothing. I looked up and saw Kristen's body unconscious on the ground, Hanna and her brothers looked at her with horror and there was only one thing that came to mind when I processed all of the things around me. No.
"No.. No, no, no... Kristen.. " I felt my voice crack as I crawled over to her and lifted her head carefully to hold it in my arms. "Please wake up, please.. Please wake up baby.. " I felt my wolf howling and whimpering helplessly. I brushed the hair out of her face and caressed her cheek gently. I couldn't lose her, I won't cope with that.
"I'm so sorry.. " I heard Hanna say and I let out a sob. I felt every thing inside me break and fall apart and all I wanted was just to see her beautiful eyes again.
"Come on, Kristen.. You can't leave me baby.. Please open your eyes.. " I whispered between my sobs.
"Jessica, she's gone-" Hanna tried saying as she rested a hand on my shoulder but I growled, scaring her as she flinched away from me. I focused back on my love's face, caressing it and memorizing every inch of her.
"You remember what I said right? You heard me, I know you did... I'm right behind you, baby. I'm here, i'll take care of you.. " I whispered to her and I heard Isabelle and her mom break down and cry out Kristen's name. She looked so lifeless. Her lips were pale, unlike the full and colorful ones I remember well. Her skin was pale and I felt the warmth of her body slowly slipping away, and being replaced by the cold around us. I looked down at her in my hands and all I could think about is how I will join her, then i'll be with her again, forever. "You're my sun, moon, and stars. And I vow to always be by your side." I said before I placed a soft kiss on her lips. I put her back on the ground and took one last look at her before I turned around, anger was now boiling in my blood, rage was all I could feel. I looked over my shoulder to Isabelle who called my name. When she saw that my eyes already glowed with my wolf form, she begged me to stop. But I didn't listen. I started running to the forest, and shifted as I ran. There was no mercy for him now. At the end of this, he was going to be dead, and i'll reunite with my love. One way or another.
