Chapter 1.)
I woke up at 9:30 on a Saturday morning. Although I didn't want to leave the safety of my bed, I got up and walked to my balcony. I took in a deep breath, and welcomed the fresh air into my lungs. I heard the soothing whistles of the nearby birds, and felt the warm sun rays shine on my skin. After enjoying the new day, I took a shower.
I blow dried my hair, and left it natural. Which in my case is straight. I pulled on a pink oversized shirt, and tucked it into my black Glenna skirt. I applied mascara to my eyelashes and lip gloss to my lips.
I ran downstairs and sat on a stool by the island. "Good morning mom! What's for breakfast?" I asked. She handed me a plate. "Buttermilk pancakes with bananas, eggs, and orange juice, water or milk." She replied.
"May I have milk?" I asked. She filled a glass with milk and handed it to me. "Thanks!"
"Well, I'm off to work. See you later darling." Mom said while grabbing her keys. I said goodbye then turned my attention to my food. As you might be able to tell, I'm a morning person.
"No pedals in the milk?" My boyfriend Scott asked mocking shock. "I have told you many times before that pedals and milk don't mix. Milk is to thick."
He smiled and kissed my lips. "Good morning babe."
I smiled and took a drink of my refreshment. Scott made his way to the refrigerator and got the orange juice out. I couldn't help but marvel at him. He has short blonde hair that he gels up at the top, and deep green eyes. He stands at 6'1 and is very well built.
We have known each other since fourth grade and started dating the beginning of sophomore year. In exactly a week on September 13th it will be two years.
"So I was thinking about taking a trip to the lake today. You up for it?" He asked after downing his glass. I nodded. "Yeah, it'd be fun."
"Great. We'll go around one. For now, let's watch a movie." He rinsed off my plate, and placed it into the dishwasher. I got up and started to walk into the den. "I don't think so." He picked me up princess style and carried me downstairs.
He sat me down gently on the leather couch. "What do you want to watch?" He asked me.
"Beastly."
He put the disk into the video player and sat next to me. He rested his arm on my shoulders, and I leaned into his side. The movie started and Vanessa Hudgens, Alex Pettyfer and Mary-Kate Olsen did their parts perfectly. Making me fall in love all over again. Beauty and the beast is my favorite movie.

"I hope they aren't mad." I said. Scott and I have been out since one, and now its nine. I haven't called once or even left a note telling them where I'm at. "I'll talk to them. It is my fault after all." He said. I smiled. Damn I am one lucky girl. "Thank you Scott."
He kissed me then walked me inside. My mom was in the kitchen. "Hey mom. Sorry I'm late." I said. She turned around and smiled at me. "Its okay. Go wash up." Something in her voice told me that we will be talking about this later.
"Scott I'm sorry but its late and I think you should be getting home." She said nicely. "Yes. I'm sorry for bringing Ashi home late. We got a little....carried away, and forgot the time. Goodnight Mrs. Ross " He said.
I walked him to the door. "I'm sorry Ashi." He said. "Its fine. Goodnight Scott." I said giving him a kiss. I meant for it to be quick, but soon it became more. His phone rang. Damn it. "Sweet dreams babe." He said before answering it and walking to his car.
I walked back into the kitchen. "Carried away?" My mom asked. I felt my cheeks heat up. "Not in the way your thinking woman! We were at Lake Tahoe, then got ice cream, and went to a restaurant. We were talking and lost track of time." I said.
She smiled at me. "Good girl. Now go clean up. Your dinner is in the refrigerator."
