Chapter 5) Stupid Sardine
I woke up in a strange room and a strange bed. The room has while walls, and dark wood floors. There is a desk, and a nightstand to the left of the bed, and a door straight across from the bed. The duvet is grey, with white pillows.
I walked to the door and opened it. It opened to a long hallway, with three other doors. I quietly walked into the hall, looking for any clues to where I am.
I turned to my left and bumped into Brendan. Then the previous night had hit me like Miley Cyrus on her wrecking ball. "Sleep good?" He asked. He was wearing loose royal blue pants and was shirtless.
I nodded and looked at anything other than him. "My parents are on a business trip so they aren't home. Are you hungry? I made pancakes." He said.
I faintly smiled. "You can cook?"
He shrugged. "A little bit."
We walked downstairs, leaving as much space between us as possible. He pulled my chair out for me. "Do you want anything to drink?" He asked. "Ah, yes. Water please." I said.
He opened a cabinet and pulled out a glass. I couldn't help but to watch him. His muscles stretched, and became more defined. He put four ice cubes in the glass, then filled it with water from the refrigerator.
I moved my eyes to the floor. "Here you go." He said. He walked to the stove and picked up two plates. He placed one in front of me, and then sat across from me.
"Thank you." I said. He nodded, and started to eat his food. "So, by any chance do you have rose petals?" I asked.
"What? I don't just carry rose petals around with me." He said.
"I didn't think you did...." I said before drinking the water.
He looked at me skeptically. "What?" I asked.
"Nothing. You just...." He paused, "...nothing."
I looked at the clock on the wall, which read 9:33 am. "Shouldn't you be in school?" I asked him.
"I should be. You should also." He answered.

"I love this little guy." Brendan said. He is laying in the floor, playing with Pricklepants. I smiled and continued to throw clothes into a bag.
"Scott didn't like him that much." I said.
"I really hate him." He said.
I zipped up my bag and closed my closet door. I pulled my charger out of the outlet, and turned my lamp off. "So, I kind of ditched my car on the side of the road, could you possibly take me to retrieve it?" I asked.
He closed Pricklepants' cage and walked towards me. "Yeah, where at?" He asked.
"The White Oak Bridge." I told him. We walked downstairs, and out of the door. I locked it with my key, then followed Brendan. When the car started, he turned the radio on, and Coldplay started playing.
I hummed along to the lyrics, not wanting to sing aloud in front of Brendan. He pulled behind my car. "Follow me back to my place. Later we're going to a party with my friends." He said.
"You have friends?" I asked.
"Surprise." He said, unlocking the door.

"Are you ready yet?" Brendan asked.
I was currently in the bathroom, changing into my clothes I'm wearing to the club. I had on a black and white Aztec designed halter top, and red high waisted shorts. I matched it with red vans. I looked once more in the mirror, making sure I didn't smear my makeup, then walked passed Brendan and to the room I was currently occupying.
He muttered something under his breath, which I didn't care to pay attention to. I sat on the grey bed. Am I really about to go to a club, with alcoholic beverages and Brendan Prince? Yeah, I am. What if Scott is there? Who cares? I sure don't.
I grabbed my phone and played 2048. "Let's go princess." He said.
"Princess?" I asked.
"Yeah, you remind me of one."
"How?"
"You're nice, friendly, innocent, and delegate."
I have him a weird look. "Okay, Prince."
"That's my last name." He said.
"I know. You don't remind me of one. You're mean, scary, and arrogant."
He flicked my forehead before grabbing his keys. I rubbed the place his finger hit. "Stupid Sardine." I said.
He laughed. "Sardine? Did you just call me a stupid sardine!?"
I glared at him before walking to my car. "My car Princess." He said. I groaned and walked to the passenger side.
"Do you not want to ride with me?" He asked, holding his hand over his heart.
"No, I don't want to be seen talking to you." I told him.
"Ashi, that hurt my heart!" He said, feigning hurt. I smiled, while he pulled out of the driveway. I turned the radio on and Bad by The Cab was playing. I hummed along, watching as the house flew by.
Brendan parked the car in front of a large rock house. The music was playing loudly, and red cups littered the ground already. Laying beside the steps that led to the porch was a guy, with one shoe on, and a missing shirt.
I saw Scott's car. I stopped walking and starred at it. Brendan grabbed my hand. "Let's show you off and prove to him that you are one in a billion. Okay?" He told me.
I looked up at him. His dark brown hair messy, as usual, and falling perfectly over his eyes. I nodded, not trusting my voice. We stepped into the house filled with drunken teenagers.
Brendan and I walked to the backyard, where two guys were laughing together. "Bro, Scott, Todd and Spencer are here. Scott asked about you, too." One said.
He has blonde hair, and grey eyes. He's about two inches shorter than Brendan, but still a lot taller than me. I'm only 5"3. Brendan let go of my hand. "Eh, I'll talk to him later. Guys, this is Ashi, Scott's girlfriend."
"Ex girlfriend, you dimwit!" I said.
"Sorry, ex girlfriend. Ashi, this is Jordan," He said speaking to the one who first talked, "and Tyler." He said, pointing to the other one.
Tyler has short black hair, and brown eyes, much like my own. He's just as tall as Brendan. "Nice to meet you Ashi." They said. I smiled and shook their hands. "Alison! Come back!" I heard Scott's voice yell playfully.
"Come catch me babe!" She replied.
I turned and watched as he wrapped his hands around her waist, lowering his hands to her bottom. They kissed, and it was rough.
"Scott? What the Hell are you doing?" Todd said.
"What about-" Spencer stopped when he saw me.
