Song: I Know I'm A Wolf by Young Heretics

Percy P.O.V.

I'm not so sure about pack life so far.

Sure I've only been here for about ten minutes, but still.

What the Hades is this mate business anyway?

Krystal looked at me through her silver wolf-eyes.

I had to admit she was pretty, but mates?

I looked around and saw Artemis flashing out, which apparently didn't kill me, although I was momentarily dazed.

I shook my gigantic head and blinked, to clear my mind.

Once I could see straight again I looked around some more.

We were in a valley, it was lush and green-perfect for springtime.

There were mountains on either side of us, it seemed like we were in a bowl.

It smelled amazing, too.

There were flowers everywhere and I could hear a waterfall somewhere.

I looked to the right and saw that Krystal had laid down and was sunbathing in her icy blue wolf form.

I kept looking around, and noticed Nico, well a gigantic black wolf anyway, laying down in the shade.

I laughed at their differences.

Another wolf approached me, with black fur and a red crescent moon on her shoulder.

We both turned human, and greeted each other.

She seemed young, and was almost as tall as me.

She had hair cut to her shoulders, black as night.

What struck me the most about her though was the amount of fear that came off of her, and I'm not saying that she was afraid, but the sense of being afraid and torture came off of her.

At the same time though, I sensed a kindness about her.

"You're Percy, right?" she asked me, as I looked her in the eyes.

She immediately dropped her gaze.

I froze, and stuttered my reply.

"Umm, y-yea."

Her eyes were bright red, with a silver stripe going through them at the sides. ( /0)(That is her left eye in black and white-kinda)

I shuddered.

"Cool. I'm Omega."

She stuck out her hand.

I warily shook it.

It calmed me, strangely. It was like I felt a connection between us, not romantic or anything, just like we were long lost best friends.

I smiled at her.

She smiled back.

We dropped each others hands, and she grabbed a ruby studded ring from her right hand, and twisted it.

A dagger appeared in her hands, and she stepped back, idly sharpening it on a rock she picked up from the ground, which was somehow a very tiny whetstone.

A blond-haired guy came up behind her.

"Put that away Vanivalle." he said.

"Can it, Alpha. You just don't like the fact that I can wield a dagger better than you can."

"Yeah, whatever." the guy, apparently named Alpha replied.

"What did you say to me?" she threatened.
