Chapter 24

Percy P.O.V.

If you have never had an Amazon queen glaring at you angrily, then you have never been afraid for your life. Seriously, I was about to have a Guinea pig flashback.

I removed my arm from Lou, silently telling her to run. This wasn't going to be pretty.

Annabeth, the Amazons are here and they don't look happy to see me. Mainly Hylla.

Good luck with that. She replied.

Yep, I'm a dead wolf about something. I thought we made peace a while ago.

"Lord Perseus." The queen of the Amazons greeted first.

"Lady Hylla." I replied sheepishly.

She glared at me a moment more, before her scowl turned into a smile and she started laughing. Punching me in the shoulder, she spoke between laughs "I got you didn't I. You thought I was mad."

I cracked a smile in relief, I mean this girl was trained by Circe. She might have the ability to turn me into a hamster or something.

Apparently I said this out loud, because Hylla laughed again, but only briefly. "Now, we should get onto more serious matters. How are we going to defeat this new threat?"

"Why don't you take the Amazons to the Poseidon cabin first? They are totally welcome there. After that meet me in the Big House and I'll brief you on the new threats."

"Thank you Percy." She responded gratefully.

After she and the Amazons left, I noticed Louisa had already joined everyone else for dinner. I hope no one sacrifices to me today. That was awkward last time.

~Line Break Bob finally saw the stars ~

I had just finished briefing Hylla, who had apparently been bet that she couldn't scare me. She won.

Now, everyone was at the Campfire and we were establishing teams for Capture the Flag.

"I say that since the Pack are gods, it should be the campers, Amazons, Hunters, and Angels against the Pack." Luna Lovegood from the Athena Cabin suggested.

I glanced around at Alpha, Omega, Lou, Annabeth, Nico, and Krystal for their approval. "Alright, but we get the Egyptians." I stated, once I had seen acceptance for the plan.

"Deal." Clarisse said, grinning evilly. "You guys are so going down. Red Team, on me!" Clarisse shouted, which causes basically everyone to follow her.

"Remember, no maiming or killing! Magic items allowed." Chiron yelled to the mass of people retreating into the woods to form a strategy.

"Alright Perce, what's our strategy?" Alpha asked me.

"Ask Annabeth."

Everyone just laughed as Annabeth told everyone what to do.

You know what I hate?

"Dam, I forgot about the Hunters being archers when I agreed to this." I said, as Nico pulled the arrow out of my backside and I healed it by sitting in the creek.
