Chapter 35

Chapter 35:

Niall left to Ireland on December 2. He was going back home. I had to admit I was sad that he was leaving but he promised he would call me every day. I kissed him good bye for the last time as he boarded the plane. 

It was now December 6. I was at home alone when someone knocked on the door. I walked towards it to see who it was. I opened the door and there he was. The guy who stabbed my brother.

“YOU! What are you doing here?” I said gripping on to the door.

“Woah calm down there tiger. I just came to drop something off for you.” He handed me an envelope. I hesitated but I took it.  “Well I’m done here.” He said while turning around.

“No you’re not. You have to pay what you’ve done to my brother.”

“Well I see no cops here do I?”

“I’ll tell them. I have their card.” I remembered Detective Stabler gave me his card.

“Are you sure you want to do that?” He asked getting closer to me. “I mean if you want to hurt the rest of your family then go right ahead.”

He said while smiling. No I couldn’t bring this upon my family, Jason already got hurt. I can’t have someone else get hurt because of me.

“Exactly what I thought.” He started to go down my porch steps.

“Wait what’s your name?” I asked.

He stopped. “The names Jonathan.” And with that he left.

I kept staring at that envelope that Jonathan had handed to me. I was deciding whether to open it or not. After an hour I decided to open it. Inside it had a two papers. A regular paper and a note card. The note card read:

My dearest Annabeth. Congratulations with your relationship with Niall. I have heard that you do not want to be part of this mission anymore or be a part of this group. But let’s face it you’ll always be one of us. But I’ll let you live this happy fantasy, for now. Again I wish you the best of luck and I’ll see you soon –X

Alright this was weird but at least he would leave me alone. That was the note card but would the regular paper say. I decided to open it. It read:

A few months ago I sent each one of you a basic riddle. You all freaked out and it seemed someone had to rat me out. But now I’m back here to give another for your enjoyment. Or perhaps mine. Now listen and listen very well. For this time only one will fall. Four will get away unharmed but one will be in pain in front of those four. When will this happened you may ask. Well it will be one of their most important nights of them all. Lights will flicker, smoke will blast, and confetti will be blasted. They will take their finally bow and wave to the crowd. You will hear three loud booms. And that’s when the war begins. You’ll hear more of these booms. And shouts too. Everyone starts to scurry but the boy will be trapped for he is looking for his loved one. And there and then will he fall. Not because he will get shot but because the one he loves most is lost. There the boy will fall and maybe secedes to exist at all. For he cannot live without her and she cannot live without him. And there it is my final riddle. I hope you enjoyed the show. Alright guys this is the last chapter I will post before I go on vacation! I'll be back in about a week. So I'll do like a mega updates. You'll see what I mean. And i'll give your Christmas/ New Years present on New Years Eve. That's when I attend to finish this book. I'll explain more about  the other book in a few chapters and I'm also gonna do something else. But for now Merry Christmas and I'll talk too you guys soon.
