Chapter 3: Is this Jealousy?

3rd Person POV

Everyone work peacefully and doing fine on the cafe. Well... not for Zane.....

Zane's POV

Augh this is sick.... seeing someone constantly failing on flirting. Reminds me of Garroth back in high school. Why do I care about someone flirting on Kawaii Chan?

"Maybe we can get some tea sometimes?" Damien asked. "How about now? On the house... Literally." I said. "Oh purrfect! We are talking about getting tea!" Kawaii Chan said. "That's not what I mean.... I was going to- uhh.. never mind." Damien said. "Hmm? You aren't fond of tea?" Kawaii Chan asked.

"No. I just don't want this to be a tea-mendhassle" Damien said. "No... Just... No..." I said. Kawaii Chan laugh out loud. "Huh?" I said. "At least I got her laughing..." Damien said. "Grrr...." I said. Am I really jealous? I know being jealous is kind of on our blood, well at least that's what mom said.... but I never actually believe in that.

"Well.. heh... I guess it's kind of funny" I said. "By the way it's nice to meet you. My name is Damien" Damien introduce. "I'm Zane." I said. "Oh Damien! *laughs more*" Kawaii Chan said. Grrr.... "NOW LEAVE ME ALONE!!" I said. I walk out, then Aphmau approach me. "So... What are you doing?" Aphmau asked. "Working." I said trying to avoid the answer she expecting. "Aside from that!" Aphmau said.

"Nothing really." I said coldly. "Are you....." Aphmau trailed off. "Don't you dare say it." I said. "Jeh-" Aphmau started. "Aph....." I said. "Jeeeellllyyyy?" Aphmau asked. "No.... Why...?" I said. "C'mon~ I saw it with my 2 eyes~" I said. "Are you now insulting me Aphmau?" I asked. "Wha? Oh.. Err.. Sorry!" Aphmau said. "Sure.... Well there's costumers pouring in!" I said trying to avoid the topic about me and being jealous.

We continue to work.

6:00 PM We closed the cafe.

I start walking home. "Soo... Zane... What's going on with you and KC?" Aphmau asked. "N-nothing~" I said. "Don't lie to me. I can see it on your face." Aphmau said. "Seriously nothing. *whisper* She is just cute." I said. "What?!" Aphmau said. "Err I mean nothing!" I said blushing.

"You found KC cute... Do you like her?" Aphmau asked. "Yes? No? I don't know!" I said. "What do you mean you don't know?" Aphmau asked. "I don't know how it feels like to have a crush or something like that." I said.

Aphmau didn't respond. "???" I give her the confused look. She still didn't respond. "Okay...?" I said. Aphmau laughed. "HAHAHAHA..haha...ha.. Wait.. Are you serious?" Aphmau asked. "Yea I'm serious." Zane said. "That's... Never mind. Visit my house tomorrow." Aphmau said
