Over the past few days Justin had called me 47 times, left 35 texts, and 15 voicemails all to which were ignored.

It was now Christmas morning and as I sat with my mom in the warmth of the Christmas tree I felt a certain happiness that I haven't been able to feel in a long while.

"Ok I promise this is the last present that I got for you." My mom handed me the long box urging me to open it. I shook my head at the massive amount of money she had spent on me.

"Oh my god." I was on the verge of tears. "I knew you'd like this one the most."

"Mom these must've cost you a fortune."

"It's all for you cupcake."

"But there's two tickets?"

"You'd rather meet Ed Sheeran alone?"

"No, I just don't know who to take."

"I'm sure you'll find someone."

"I can't thank you enough, mom."

She smiled at me warmly. "You don't have to your gifts already did." She laughed a little. "Oh before I forget there's something else."

"More?"

"Oh calm down it's not from me." She walked into kitchen coming back with a box.

"Who's this from?" I asked taking it.

"Justin dropped it by this morning. I asked him to give it to you himself, but he said you weren't speaking to him." I frowned at the box. "Go on now open it. I want to see."

I tore off the wrapping paper gently hesitating to open the box.

"Oh for heavens sake!" My mother tore off the lid making me laugh.

There was a scrapbook inside that read 'Our Greatest Moments Together' on the front along with the picture of myself burying my face into him as he held me on the front.

I was at a loss for words as I opened it up to find every tabloid snipet and every little selfie we ever took together along with captions. I flipped to the last page which had a note instead of a picture. It read, "So it's not gonna be easy. It's going to be really hard; we're gonna have to work at this everyday, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, everyday. You and me... everyday."
-Nicholas Sparks

It held no explanation, but then again did it really have to? He used a quote from my favorite author to say everything that needed to be said. I hadn't even realized that there was warm liquid streaming down my face until my mother pointed it out.

"If you're crying now then you're going to cry really hard at this." She took out a small light blue box with a bow placed on it handing it to me.

"Tiffany's." I gasped opening the box.

It was a necklace that in the shape of a J with a small heart looped through it. The entire thing diamond incrusted

"Oh my god mom." She looked at it just as bewildered as I

"What did you get him?"

"A trench coat from Ralph Lauren."

"No offense or anything sweet heart, but I don't think he's a trench coat kind of guy. I mean wouldn't it look awfully odd in those drop crotch leggings he wears with his buttocks all out and about?"

"Jesus Christ mom!"

"What?"

"They're not leggings" I was talking in between breaths of laughter
