*Justin's POV*
It had been a week now without any contact from Scarlett. She wouldn't answer her phone, her texts, she even avoided Ryan because she knew I'd try to contact her through him. I didn't know why she was acting so immature, but I was gonna find out.
I had my mind set on surprising her on campus with flowers and the whole deal. Whether she liked it or not I was gonna confront her face to face and figure this whole situation out. I'll tell her about Selena and how I didn't let anything happen, but will that just fuel her anger even more? Or will it show that I can be trusted? All I wanted was for her to not be upset with me.
I put on sunglasses and a hat along with a hoodie over to shade away my face. The last thing I needed right now was to get mobbed in a campus. I parked my car as far away and out of sight as possible and set out to find her dorm. Following the signs I was led to the girls dorms, now to find room 505. It was a fairly straight path thank heavens and I found myself knocking on the door within seconds, but with no response. It's Saturday afternoon I realized she might be out, but to my relief she came to the door just as I was about to walk off.
She opened the door only very slightly and I could see that she was still in her pajama shorts and a tank top. "Uh, hey what are you doing here?"
"We planned to see each other today before you left remember?"
"Yeah, but i didn't expect you to show up after all that's happened."
"Can I come inside?"
"I don't think now is a really good time Justin."
I inhaled deeply out of frustration. "Look I came all this way to see you, and you can't avoid me forever so just let me in, yeah?"
"Why don't we just talk outside?" She suggested looking back into the room as if signaling something.
"What are you hiding from me?"
"Why would I hide anything from you?" She looked uneasy just saying the words, and I could tell that something was up.
I ignored her pushing open the door. "Alright where is he?" I asked
"Where is who?"
"Whoever it is you're hiding from me."
"There's no one here except for you and I, Justin."
"Bullshit. I can tell when your lying." anger was forming a chamber inside of me consuming me from everything else.
"I'm not."
I ignored her searching for him. I was shaking furious as a tore open the closet, but found nothing there. I checked the bathroom and every corner.
"Satisfied now?" She asked
I didn't respond knowing that if I did I would end up yelling at her.
"What were you trying to hide from me then?"
"Nothing."
"Don't you dare lie to me Scarlett!" She trembled from my sudden outburst at her.
"I'm not lying to you." She didn't face me and I knew that she was hiding something from me I knew it with everything in me.
"Achoo" the sound of a sneeze emerged from under the bed.
"What was that?" I asked
"That was me. I seem to be catching a bit of a cold."
"Your sneezes aren't that manly."
"It's this American air, ya know."
I looked under the bed to see a boy hiding underneath.
