Romance is a funny thing. It makes your heart flutter inside your chest, the shivers go up your spine, and the blood to rush to your cheeks as you laugh and smile at the one who makes you feel this way. It gives you a blissful ache inside your chest and it tugs on the strings of your emotions, making you feel all sorts of things whenever you're around the person you love. Your breathing picks up pace, and your heart rate skyrockets through the love filled air. Your mind becomes filled with thoughts, too much for you to handle and your words come out as stutters. It's a wonderful thing, but it can be just as horrible.

Romance is cruel. It tricks you into thinking that person was perfect, everything you ever wanted in a lover, but you only saw the good and ignored the bad within them. It's what causes you to curl up in your bed, gasping for air as the tears run down your face. What was once the blissful ache in your chest, is now a stab of pain. Your heart feels as if it's been ripped to shreds and all that leaves your lips are the sobs and screams of misery as you suffer from within. The thoughts become your bullies as they spit out poison filled venom in your face, and you cant do anything but take it in this time of weakness. It's what causes you to go completely insane as your world falls apart because you were stupid enough to build it on their shoulders.

Romance has two sides, that's why it's so scary to fall in love, because love can hurt more than it heals.
