I stumbled away from him into the completely dark room. I hear the door shut behind me and whip my head towards it. But there's nothing. I suddenly stand still when I think I hear someone move behind me. But the room stays silent. I only wish I had some light. Suddenly I flinch when I feel as if someone just brushed up against my hand, a tingling feeling running through me. I see a faint light out of the corner of my eye and I turn immediately towards it only to see the tips of my hands glowing slightly a golden color.
Dawn Court.
I'd already been wondering what would come with the gift of the High Lord. When there is darkness there is light. And it would appear as if I'm that light. Only my finger tips light up softly. I move my hands closer to my face studying then for a second and the more I look the brighter they are until I can see almost clearly in the room. But this room is different. The walls are a dark grey and the furniture is sparse. And then I see this is a bedroom I feel something rush through me like adrenaline as my mind races. The bond. Somethings wrong, I feel it.
What is wrong, what's happening?
Nothing, just silence. An achiness fills my chest. The light fades from me and darkness surrounds me again. But my question is, whose bedroom am I in? I thought only the Lord and Lady oh, and Lili lived here? It's probably another guest bedroom. This place is huge. And I feel it again, the brush against my side as I jump at the feel.
"Who's in here?"
"Ah, so they didn't tell you about me did they. My own father still ashamed, of course I still see my mother but you. You're new." His voice is dark like he's trying to be someone else he dreams to be.
"Who are you?"
"That's not a concern for know." I feel someone's breath on my neck and I whip around just as all the candles in the room light up revealing the man dressed in grey before me. He looks exactly like his father with his mother's eye color. A dusty blue. Lili never mentioned other family.
"What are you doing in here? You definitely didn't use the door or perhaps another. You should know that this place is full of secrets and it would appear you're one of them now, as am I of course. And secrets can be together." His hand moves up and grips my chin and a moment I'm behind him, out of the corner of my eye I feel a sudden darkness around me. My eyes widen at it and just like that they disappear in a second.
"Ah, you're feisty, aren't you mated to the High Lord of the Spring Court?"
I lie and say, "yes have you two met?"
"I visited once when he was still moping about but had to leave he was no fun though Lucien was quite interesting and I had no idea he would flourish like he has now. When I heard the news I was considering joining but well I was called away." He walks swiftly to the bed and sits down.
"What news?" I ask, obviously something had happened to him and though a part of me still wants to rip his head off for how he let me fall apart but I will always care for him.
"You mean you don't know?"
"Of course I do I just what to know if you were told correctly."
"You're lies don't fool me cursebreaker, it's just like my father to hide his secrets."
Technically he didn't hide it I just was busy. A wave of him hits my mind and I know Rhys is watching me.
"I have no need to lie."
"And I don't play games, well at least with one where I can get something out of it." He raises an eyebrow at me.
"What do you want?"
