"You say those words with such malice and yet the last time you killed you were broken and your dreams turned to nightmares." The Suriel says, inching away from me.

"Those lives weren't meant to be lost, this however, is meant to be ended."I snap.

"I shall believe it when I see it." Eyes narrowing as if trying to see if I'm playing some game to torture it.

"You will, as soon as I reach Hybern." I reply, a haunting feeling running through me.

 "That soon really?"

I nod my head and say,"Time is of the essence in war."

A smile plays with its lips as its voice laces over me. "I hadn't realized you were apart of it."

"I was the minute they hurt my mate."

"How far are going back, to when Rhysand was Amaratha's slave or when the King of Hybern broke your bond?"

At one point her name scent a hollow place in my chest weeping again for what happened, and now, nothing but emptiness, maybe I should have thanked her.

Because if she had never locked me down in those damn dungeons, Rhys never would have come down and everything would be different. I wouldn't have made a bargain, he never would have wiped away my tears and I never would have met the Court of Dreams.

I would go through all that torture again just to make sure it'd all stay the same.

 "Cursebreaker?"

 "Yes?"

 "Just one last question."

 "What is it?"

"Have you found them yet? In the Manor of the Spring Court?"

 "What?"

"I guess you haven't, you will through, and I won't be around when you do."

"Wait, what am I to find there?" I say.

"Just wait, now that you know you have something to find, it won't be long."

"Hey!" I yell as the Suriel disappears into the night among shadows, dragging with it the answers to my questions.

What am I to find? A minute later snow begins to fall in a flurry and I turn over every word that passed between us as I trudge back through a foot if snow. Shivering through my thin coat.

"I'll find you again, if you don't find me first." A voice meets my ear and I realize it's the Suriel's.

"We shall see." I say just as the twinkling lights of the Castle comes into view and I make my way for the iron gates. A creaking sound of the gates alerting the guards outside. I wave a hand at then and they let me be.

As I walk through empty hallways of the Castle I ponder two things.

 1. Do I tell Rhys my news now or when I see him.

And 2. How do I end the life of Jurian

He's guarded obviously and a skilled fighter. Though I bet he is weak from being dead for so long. And I'm the only one going to Hybern which not only makes it easy. Perhaps I could make it look like a mistake but with me going there at the same time of his death would draw to much attention, and I'd been in even deeper trouble if the King suspected me. I could always hire someone, but I don't trust anyone.

 Not now. Maybe ever.

I'm finally at my door and open it slowly so to not wake anyone.
